March 18, 20215 yr I have solar panels connected as 4 strings of 3 in series. If one of the 3 in series is covered by shade, will it be able to contribute to the charge, since surely the voltage will be less than the other strings even if it has bypass diodes.
March 18, 20215 yr If your 4 strings are paralleled up, then I suspect no, if they are on a separate inputs on your inverter/charge controller, then yes, they should still add some electron flow, I'd imagine...
