Axpert King 5k no DC to AC

Good evening, I searched the forum but couldn't find any place that can help me.
I have recently installed 2 inverters, Axpert king 5k, in parallel. The connections are all correct but I have this peculiarity.
One inverter, in this case the HS, converts from DC to AC and sends it to the output while the other, the SL, does not carry out the conversion and only outputs when the bypass occurs.
In practice, the inverter powers the output only with the utility and never with batteries / panels.
I attach some photos. I hope you can help me.

The slave inverter is acting like it is switched off.  This can be caused by:

  1. It IS switched off?
  2. The switch is faulty. 
  3. The inverter is faulty.

1 seems very unlikely, but easily rectified.😀

2 is easily checked by swopping the 2 Remote Display Units.  The switch is a purely mechanical pushbutton - if that is faulty it is easily replaced.

3 seems unlikely given that there are no error codes.  Perhaps @Coulomb may have some insights?

The switch is on.  In fact, when it switches to mains power, the output is active

Test already performed, the result is the same.

What do you mean by "some insights?"

As others have said, it's acting like the switch is off. In particular, because it's in standby mode, as you can see from one of the photos.

Axperts are a little unusual, in that turning the switch off doesn't always cause them to switch off completely, even after 30 seconds, if there is a charging source (PV present, or AC-in present). Switched off but with a charging source, they stay on, but in standby mode. In standby mode, they can charge the battery from either charge source, and perhaps switch to bypass mode if directed by the master, or perhaps on its own.

If your switch is definitely on, as others have said, it could be faulty, or there is a break in the cable from the removable display to the inverter, or something is faulty in the inverter itself.

If you remove PV and AC-in from the slave, does it go dark after 30 seconds?

If you isolate the master and switch it off, does the slave then power the loads?

*I have inverted the displays and the result is the same. That is, that Axpert does not power loads through the conversion from DC

Without the master isolated, I don't know what turning off the master's switch will do. The firmware might decide that it's too dangerous to stop the master from powering the inverter, since the slave might then push power into the output of the master, and possibly damage it.

On my paralleled Kings each inverter will always switch on or off according to the its switch position (as long as there is a battery connected).  If the master is turned off any online slave will take over as master.  If there are no slaves online the ac output will be interrupted.

After several tests I have seen that the on / off button has no influence on the inverter. I tried to put the HS diaplay on the SL but the result is the same. I think it's some internal link.

Can you give me instructions on how to force the function of the key?

This is the back of the PCB inside the removable display. Please pardon the poor photo:

The switch connects to pins 7 and 8 of the RJ-45 cable between the removable display and the inverter. You could check for continuity between 7 and 8 when the switch is on, and for the lack of continuity when the switch is off. You could perhaps replace the switch if it is faulty; it looks like a fairly standard part. Alternatively, you could somehow wire something to the switch wires so that you can use an external switch. The switch has two poles; each pole it paralleled; only one is paralleled on the back of the board. The N.C. (Normally Closed) contacts are not used. BTW, the cable to the inverter has a completely different pin-out than the RS-232 port to the PC, so you can't connect the PC directly to the inverter by plugging the cable into the inverter directly. 

If the fault is in the cable, you could replace that. It's straight through, so you can use a standard ethernet cable to extend the removable display away from the inverter.

If the fault is inside the inverter, then you'll have to operate on the so-called "comms board" (very different from previous boards of that name); it's the one with three or four RJ-45 connectors on it. Or chase the fault further back; it could go back to the main board. My guess is that it will end up at the same main power supply circuit as the older Axperts; partial schematic trace here. The switch contacts should end up at the place on the schematic marked "AC start".

Edit: I don't believe that you can force the function of the switch with commands.

Thanks so much for the support. The inverter was new and I sent it back to the seller for service.
They fixed it for me by telling me that it was the first time something like this had happened or that "I found the signal cable that manages the front button disconnected"
