Axpert MKS 1KVA/1KW 12 volt Firmware

Featured Replies

HI

How can I download the Firmware for the Axpert MKS 1KVA/1KW 12 volt from voltronicpower.com , or is there another source to download the Firmware for these device or  Voltronic Devices?

Thanks for your help,

You can't. Occasionally there will be firmware for 5 kVA models and above on forums like this; for 1 kVA models, I don't think I've ever seen one.

You will have to ask your reseller, and you'll need a good reason.

I've just realised that the 1 kVA 12 V models likely use the same firmware as some 24 V models, and I have a precious few of those.

What is your present main firmware version number?

Hello

i need like thes firmware V15.50 (1.2KW - 12V)

The only 15.xx firmware that I have is 15.61. This is firmware for an MC9S08AC48 processor (not using a TI DSP). It handles 1-3 kW inverters with 12 V and 24 V batteries.

Available from a link in this post.

Ah! Yes, it would be. The last two digits are the flash size in kB. I was thinking of the 145 V max Solar Charge Controller firmware, which they squeeze into 48k.

Considering that the TI DSP firmwares are 128 kB or 256 kB (parallelable models), they do well to fit it into 60k.

I need this

I think that you're far better off trying 15.61 first. 02.65 supports 7 different firmwares; 15.61 only 3. So 02.65 is likely to misidentify your hardware, possibly thinking it's a 24V or 48V model, which won't work at all.

Ah! I see that the AEVA forum is offline again; a victim of another bot attack, I would assume. Sigh.

I'll attach the 15.61 firmware link here; just ignore the SCC firmware.

KS_1_3k_1561.zip

But if you really want to try 02.65, very much at your own risk, it's here.

This is main (U1) factory firmware version 02.65 for the Axpert KS (PWM) 1kVA/2kVA/3kVA using the MC9S08 processor. There are 7 possible ratings and battery voltages from 1 kVA to 3 kVA, all PF0.8, except for the 12V and 48V 1kVA models, which are PF1 (i.e. 1kW instead of 800W). Do not use with any other model or version. I l know little about these small models with the 8-bit processor, so use at your own risk. The hex file is dated 12/07/2021.

Firmware upload instructions for these older models with a built-in rectangular display.

This firmware supports only the PWM Solar Charge Controllers (usually about 100 V max PV voltage), not Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) SCCs.
