August 18, 20214 yr Hubble has discontinued the X-100' and their replacement X-101 is not compatible with its predecessor. I purchased three X-100's early January this year coupled to a Sunsynk 8k. Provisionally used it as a loadshedding backup while finishing my groundmounted array of 28 Canadian 335 & 365's, which is now running and feeding into my grid through a Platinum(Diehl) 16000 - 3 phase Grid tied inverter. Now with some experience in running the system I wanted to add two extra batteries - which has become a serious challenge. Leoch 48100 TB batteries are, as far as I could establish, identical ( the Hubble even has 48100 TB on its barcode/ serial no sticker) - but apparently use different communication protocols. My possible solutions : 1) Sell the X-100's to another member (maybe in the same boat as me ?) and buy X-101's or 2) Buy the Leoch's and find a way to communicate correct SOC to the Sunsynk - Victron Samartshunt ? - but I don't have the expertise to do this myself. Any other suggestions ?
