  1. Hi Vak Thanks I will check setting 12 and see if that changes anything and then repost all my settings. Appreciate the feedback.
  2. Good Day I have gone through all the questions and answers but cannot get to a solution on my unit. I have a Older RCT 5Kw unit(2014) I have now installed a synapses(Pylontech) 3.55kW Battery. The issue I am having is that in the evening the unit does not run on the battery till the back to grid voltage is reached. Directly there is no more solar, it goes over to mains instead of running on battery first. My unit is set to SBU. I also only use solar to charge my batteries so setting 16 - OSO Manie from ICC also said to set the back to discharge voltage higher (54V)than the float voltage(53.2V) which I have done. I have even gone to 55V on the back to discharge to ensure they way apart but it does not help. I have also tried running the unit with ICC controlling it through SOC but it does not react to the SOC setup in ICC. Not sure if anyone can assist

  5. Thanks Coulomb will look around then.
  6. Good Day Everyone I have a problem presently in that i was able to communicate(Watchpower, ICC) with my RCT apxert 5KVA inverter till about two weeks ago. It would appear that the little comms board which seems to be separate to the parallel comms board has gone faulty. Has anyone had this and if so were can a person get spares.
  7. Hi Gnome Thanks for the reply. what is bogging me down is the CRC part. Dont kill yourself laughing but I use Visual basic 2012. I can communicate with the inverter except i cannot get it write to send the correct CRC commands with the Q commands etc But I will look into Ruby. maybe time for changes
  8. Hi Everyone i am new to your forum and glad to see so many people with experience in the Axpert series. I have the 5K and installed it around April 15. So far so good no problems. But I am glad to see someone is not happy with the software and would like to communicate with the unit utilising its own protocol commands. has anyone furthered this. thanks
