Hi What will be a typical power collection setting. I have 48v hybrid system. 2x Mercer 5.6kva, 2 x 5.1 Hubble AM5 battaries and 24 x 450w panels. My setting currently. Panels plus grid then batteries if grid fails. Program 01, SUb I did test where I switch off eskom main feed in the DB. So then only panels an batteries provide power. At night time I switch eskom back on. Is it better not to switch off eskom and let my current settings do their job? Or what will the best overall settings be in the program setup for a Mecer SOL-I-AX-5M4. Looks like the grid is providing the power or am I reading the display wrong1nn1

Thx for you guys replies. I did check all cabling etc. At the end I called DSTV CALL CENTRE, and they sort the problem out. What they did I really don't but the 2 decoders are working. Wll revert back if they fail again.

Good day, I have 2 x Mercer 5.6kv and 2 x 5.1kv Hubble AM5 installed. I have 2 x extraview decoders installed one in main bedroom the other in the binnebraai. Explora in TV Room. All of the above operated perfectly before 12 x 460w panels was installed by the installer. After the panels installation the 2 x decoders is powered but no signal. The Explora works perfectly in the TV Room. When the panels are switch off in the panel box, (only using battery power) the 2 x decoders work perfectly. Did anyone else came across the such a problem.

@zsde Geewiz delivered the battery balancer but saw that online link to the product is a HA02. The one that was delivered is a HB02. Are there any differences between the two.

@Coulomb I did switch inverter #2 off immediately when I saw F08. So I only run inverter #1 now. Waiting for the electrician to disconnect the battery cables so that I can change 28 to PAR on inverter #1. Then both will be PAR. Then connent the cables again. @BritishRacingGreen It was a disaster first time around. Luckily the supplier replaced the unit.

I have 2 Mecer 5m4 connected in parallel. I get a F08 error on inverter #2. Inverter #2 program 28 is set to PAR. But inverter #1 can't change to PAR form SIG in program. Could that be the problem for F08 on inverter #2.

Must I have 2 battery balancers or is 1 enough as I have 8 batteries.

I see that there is 2 charging settings 1. Max battery charging current 2. Max AC charging current Should I set point 2 to 50A or both

Where do I look for the battery capacity. Current setting is 30C Type of Batteries are Vision Agm 100ah 12V

The batteries are 8 x 100ah 12v AGM. They are connected in 2 packs of 4 in series and then parallel to the inverter 48v

I have 8 x AGM batteries connected to a 5.6kva Mecer 5m4 inverter. What will the Max Battery Charging Current. Later I will add another 5.6kva Mecer 5m4 inverter.

Hi Everyone I have a Mecer Sol-I-AX-5M with 4 x 100AH Vision Gel 12V battaries, no panels yet. Will install extra 4 x 100AH Vision Gel 12V Batteries as are already delivered. On the inverter I see bypass message is that normal as I only have a battery bank and charge direct from Eskom if there is no Loadshedding. Please see image below. I all so set setting from Appliance mode to UPS mode, is that correct.

It only happens when there is no Loadshedding. There is no overload warning when power is drawn from the inverter during Loadshedding. My logic tells me that if Eskom power is on then there should be no overload on the inverter as Eskom is providing power and charging the batteries. Sorry if this a silly reply but I am new to this.

I just installed this inverter. As I am new to thus I need some help. While Eskom power is on I get a random fault beep [07] overload. There is no Panels installed. I use it as a power back up when Eskom is Loadshedding. When Inverter is provide power during Loadshedding then there is no overload fault. Any help appreciate.

Hi, I noticed that this is an old thread but maybe some can help me. I bought a used mecer 5kva inverter, recently served by Mustek, with 4 x 100AH batteries. Must there be a fuse per battery installed
