  7. Hi, same here. Ordered equipment in August and still waiting for it. It can take up to six months, unfortunately. This is with DDP where they cover everything, as it first goes to the Chinese warehouse this side and then they have to get it through. Seems like customs are done scanning for the year, early Christmas. My 2nd order is also waiting at customs, lets see if this one goes faster.
  8. @Peter Brown Hi Peter, 16 sold, just waiting for Greg to let me know about the other 16. Will let you know later today.

  11. Hi, here it is. One box of 4 cells is just over 20kg, as one cell is 5kg. So pudo will work but you will get it box by box. All four boxes are 80kg and it might be steep to courier together. But the online quote option Gerhard shared might help. The cells are packed in their original boxes and are protected.

  15. @moolmanj I am totally off grid, like no connection to my house. I am on a farm, with the following setup: 15kw inverter 30kw battery capacity 30 x 450w panels 3 geysers on timers 3 fridges 2 deep freezers 2 borehole pumps x 750w This works for me, but I still have to manage this. My batteries are full at about 1 PM, but when it is raining or cloudy this sometimes does not even reach full capacity. I would say Eskom is still the cheapest, but I never know of any outages or cable failures. Right now I am on 84%, and tomorrow morning it will be at 60%, but sometimes on rainy days I have to start the generator to charge up to 60% before going to bed. Solar is not cheap, but it makes life easier, and then again, you will have to maintain and maybe replace in a few years. Sorry, back to your question, I definitely save because I had to pay connection rent of R3500 per month just for the connection. But in town Eskom stays the cheapest way, for now. It all depends if you need hot water at night and in the morning, because these are the big energy eaters, geysers!
  16. I can pudo one or 2 boxes at a time, which will be R100 a box. One box is 20kg, with 4 cells. I will take a photo of the barcode tomorrow. I have imported the cells, and there is a warranty, but it will cost more to send it back than to replace it. I will take it back if something goes wrong, but it has been tested fine. I have used EVE cells for golf carts, but it is not that good like I hoped. I imported 150 x 105ah cells with 3c discharge, but some of them did not perform as good as the others. Some of my REPT cells outperformed them which were only 100ah. These hithium cells apparently have 8 000 to 10 000 cycles. I am sure they will last just as long as EVE for less bucks. I am keeping 32 to add to my current bank, so hopefully get 10 more years on my batteries.

  20. @DeonBezLooks nice! Here is a box I used for a golf cart, but this was made by the buyer, mine is powder coated. But this is just for a certain type of cart, as they differ in size for all the different carts. Those wires are just for charging
  21. Minji Guan +8613302601493 No, this is for the 280ah Hithium cells, 64 of them. The 105ah eve cells are $32 from Minji.
