Hi Coulomb. I have 2* OG 7.2 in parrallel running on U1 69:02 & U2 12:16 Can I update a third inverter that runs U1 90:28 & U2 12:13 to the same as the other two U1 69:02 & U2 12:16 to run in par with them? Reason why , I don't want to risk them , rather the single one. Regards Willlie

Hi Calvin Yes I do have the ICC software running.. but as a way to get information from inverters and batteries. I will not let the software run the system, as it is to unreliable. "Yes Manie I hope you take note!!" Software freezes to frequently and then SOC or whatever you use as reference is useless. Did freeze again last night.. then makes the GPIO addition also not working. Some say that the Pi running from a micro SD can be the problem , but have not tried to run PI4 from SSD. So at the moment there is no foolproof alternative. Cheers Willie

Same setup and exactly the same problem. Firmware is the same. Slave also keeps giving Err61 coms. error , but does not switch off and the same if master and slave switched. Willie 0721232781

Hi Bruce The usb port is only to update the firmware of the inverter and only read usb memory . I tried on my inverter "also OG-PLUS 5.48" and was never successful. You have to use serial and that was also a mission with Watchpower to connect. Whatchpower connected with older 5kva Axpert but not with Kodak. Then got the Pi4 with ICC software and got the com's working. Why it did not communicate with Watchpower ..I still don't know. Then did you drop the Voltage of the inverter to the same setting as what the BMS consider as fully charged or what worked..? Cheers Willie

14 x 350w panels does NOT cost R42000 "that's R3000 ea " . Got 18 x 365W panels for R1830ea. You have not done your homework. Then as for the rest of your calculations I will not bother any further. Do your tracker , track the clouds on rainy days?
