Hi Steve Interesting, in the 22 minute mark, they do mention that the Axpert is off grid as it has a change over internal relay. my unit can use both mains and solar together to supply battery charger and output (SOL-I-AX-5KP2) in one mode it actually charges battery and connects load to battery at same time. I haven't heard or seen this being discussed. I await Jose's input with anticipation. Thanks

Hi Steve Thanks, that would be nice, as there are 2 of us that would like to do this. As to the advising, it's just been talk between various people and suppliers including electricians, but I couldn't believe COCT would kick such registrations out. I also think that there is a fear factor around as there has been a fine levied at one person, that installed without getting the permissions first. Heavy fine.

Hi Steve87 If I look at the brochure you uploaded, the only scenario that you don't need an approved inverter is if the inverter is used off-grid with no connection to the grid. (Labelled 'D') Am I correct? I have an Axpert King and have been advised that I can't do solar as it isn't on the list. I wanted to combine grid and solar for my load bbut apparently the COCT will not approve.
