My inverter mecer 1200 12v (old type with external transformer) went faulty. IWhen connected normally {12v battery and to mains 230v withhout switching inverter button on} the input voltage on display shows 470v ac and output volts 230v ac. also know effect when use 10/20 amp switch {switch fine, although there is charging current at 14.2v dc. If i remove mains inverter just keep on working not swiching off amd still showing 470v. When connecting batteries only and switch inverter on the input ac volts on display show 470v {mains not even connected| output ac show 230v. Is this a software problem? What about a factory reset.?

Thank you for replying back to me. When measure resistance on propes only of sensor i.e 105kohms (depends on room temperature). heating sensor resistance drops even if propes are connected in T48 (if say 19degrees it drops ). Is there a build in sensor in the T48?

Hallo guys. I bought a second hand TOPTRONIC T48 multimeter. When i measure temperature with temperature lead (supplied) and positive and negative propes correctly plugged in and dial set to C. when switched on reading is +19 degree Celsuis. If i put sensor in say oven or on element the reading start dropping even into the negative. Is this correct on this meter? I personally do not think so.

Hi there. I want to know what is the DC draw (current) on a new mecer Lobo 1200va LBKS Ups inverter . Mains power off only on inverter mode and with no output AC load. I measure 2.8amps on battery cable using a clamp meter. Is that normal? Battery is fully charged 12v deep cycle 105aH.

I have a Linkqnet 1000w ups/inverter. When in battery mode using (110Ah battery - battery fine) with no appliance connected (AC output of inverter) the DC current draw (on battery) is 3.1amps. I think this is too high. When put in 100w bulb it shoots up to 11.8amps (last only 55min) does someone no what should the DC current be without any appliance connected. Also what can cause this high current on PC board if there is a problem.

Hi, Where can i find AS324M-E1 soic in South Africa on the board lobo 24kva 24v? Look like the circuit is design only for this ic. Replacement ic "s does not work as intended. The unit remains in fault mode when switched on, and battery voltage up to 16v and more, thus overcharging the battery. I have checked for any short circuits, cannot find anything. Could it be the microprocessor?

Hi guys, hope all you people are well. I have an mecer Lobo 1200/ivr-1200LBKS. When unit is off grid(mains failure) battery is fully charged I measure 2amps on (battery) with no load and 3.6amps DC (on battery) with one energy savings lamp 16watt. I am sure the dc amps with bulb should be about 1.7amp. Any one that repair these inverters that can help me why is amps so high what component could be the problem. 9

Guys my problem with this UPS is when grid 220v ac power is off unit goes into battery back up mode but then after 2seconds the fan drops in speed the output ac voltage goes up to 239v and not stable. Fluctuate between 235 and 239v(not fast) Frequency doing the same (but faster) fluctuate between 49 to 51KHZ. The load is a 50w bulb and the dc amps on battery cables is already 3.5amps. when add 100w load (soldering bolt) DC current jumps to +/_ 9amps (too much battery will drain quicker). Tested all mosfets (multimeter for shorts) , diodes, all resistors, switching transistors etc. (OK). Replaced electrolytic capacitors but checked only the 5caps on input of 12vDC for short circuit and value (OK). Nothing gets very hot. On secondary of DC to DC transformer i get 178v (battery volts 13.3v DC) on ac true rms meter. I have 2 of these units both is doing the same. My battery is a 12v deep cycle (lead) 110ah. Battery still fine. When unit is on grid with inverter switched on output is 230v AC and 50hz. Charging current is .5amps (depends on status of battery). also replaced 3525 IC. could it be one of those SOIC'S? Is it a common fault on these units?. What can i do still? PLEASE HELP.
