  1. Just some feedback ppl, in case anyone else has this issue. I found that the positive terminal in the inverter was partially melted, and was not making a good connection, or at least a partial connection to the battery. This seems to have been contributed to the issue. I have seated everything correctly, and everything seems to be working again.
  2. Hi everyone, I was hoping someone could give me some advice. I have a RCT-AXVM2 12v system and it just started giving me problems. For some reason it is reading the battery voltage incorrectly. My battery via Bluetooth and using the multimeter is reading say 13.2v but my inverter is sensing 14.4v so only gives a trickle charge not enough to charge the battery. Interestingly enough I cannot even charger it from utility as well. It all started a few weeks ago when the inverter started clicking all the time. Looking at the display it is almost as if it is see between charging the battery and using the battery. I think this is because it constantly reads the voltage incorrectly. Any ideas or suggested fixes it would be really appreciated.
  3. I hoping there are a few people looking to sell their solar panels at a good price. I am only needing 1 or 2 depending on the price, since it is for a small install.
  4. I was hoping someone on the forum can suggest a fair priced 12v inverter charger, because I just got a 12v lithium battery and need to pair it up with one that potentially I could add solar panels in the future?
  5. Just some more information, and thanks to the help of one of the forum members. Seems like these panals are not Canadian Solar, they are actually 550W panels. I will never trust skynat again, crooks I tell you. They just rip people off. I am therefore willing to drop the price to R19000 for all 6. Like I said, they are new, never installed. I actually paid R25000 for it.

  7. They do have stock, but I am in the process of trying to cancel the order for now.
  8. Firstly, thanks everyone for the prompt feedback. I really appreciate it. @YellowTapemeasure : I bought the inverter from another company before contacting skynat regarding the 650W panels. I did phone them though before ordering to ask whether it was compatible, and they said it would be fine. Also thanks for the thread on MyBB, scary. @WannabeSolarSparky : So for me it has been established that the panels are far too high spec'd but I don't have much roof space and my longest side of the roof is north facing. Hence why I opted for the high wattage panels. Would the inverter just clip the amps? BUT would it damage the inverter though? Also I have already paid for them, and is being delivered, so I don't have much choice in using them. Should I just keep them, and look into the future to move to a 8KW Sunsynk. Because it is over spec'd would it not start generating earlier in the morning as well, so it might not be a bad thing?
  9. Hi everyone, I am new to solar and just feeling a little nervous doing the install myself. So I have been doing allot of reading. I ended up buying the SunSynk 5kw inverter and 6x Bifacial 650W Candian Solar panels as a start. Being a noob, I did not know or check information like Voc and any other string considerations. I would appreciate it is someone could firstly help me confirm with those panels would work with the inverter or do I have to return them for others? They have a Voc of 43.66v and Short circuit current of 18.85A (Model: BiESC6 630-650 ), I am little worried because the input amps on the inverter is only 11A? Any suggestions would be apprecated. skynat-solar-biesc650.pdf
