  1. checking if you have pv3 specified in nodered flow?
  2. code removed as post was in error - refer to @slipx comment on the template for card below.
  3. Hi Gary happy to help - running 2 plan, 2 inverter setup. One is grid tied, the other is connected to aux. so scenarios can be measured very accurately on the MCU and inverter software. lemme know if interested in DM
  4. are you referring to a card - based off slipx06 that gary mentioned earlier in his thread?
  5. Google drive backups work grat - add the google drive back to the add-ins. great way to recover you home assist core. just write down your passwords so you remember it when re-doing the system
  6. @Gary Waterworth - see attached flows updated for 2 inverter. normalised the information extracted from inverter 2 - this now shows inverter 1 and 2 information that is aligned with API parameters from the e-liner doc. still working on the cards to match PV1 and PV2 will for 2nd inverter. working on the bindings to get relevant information that is relevant and "matching" to the mappings on https://github.com/slipx06/sunsynk-power-flow-card/wiki/Sensor-Mappings. will share when done with mappings and cards for 2nd inverter. this JSON can be imported into nodered and will work for sunsynk data extracts from inverter 1 and 2 from multiple plants and a single account. 2nd inverter - flows.json
  7. developer branch copied in and magic happened, I might have copied from the mainstream branch. Can now see Inverter 1 and 2 with information. Will share the new dashboard and card information and config soonest I have completed. thanks a mil.
  8. hi there attached. i tried with create request inverter list enabled and disabled, same result.
  9. hey there changed opt to 1 and left inverter donotedit the same and also as 1 = the result the same - attached outcome the plant list still reflects 2 plants though
  10. will give this a bash too. the default registration process on the sunsynk dongle does create a new plant. will let you know how it went and what the output is. thanks for all the conversations, thoughts.
  11. so if i understand the flow, ultimately it is pulling inverter 0 from plant 0 then stops since there is a success response and stops. The debug info below. The 8kva and 5kva inverters have more or less the same MCU / firmware loaded, returns different results on the permissions attribute pageSize: 10 pageNumber: 1 total: 2 infos_0_id: XXXXXX infos_0_name: XXXXXX infos_0_thumbUrl: https://static.inteless.com//plant/plant1.jpg@!650w infos_0_status: 1 infos_0_address: XXXXXXX infos_0_pac: 0 infos_0_efficiency: 0 infos_0_etoday: 8.6 infos_0_etotal: 757.4 infos_0_updateAt: 2023-05-12T18:28:02Z infos_0_createAt: 2022-11-18T11:09:30.000+00:00 infos_0_type: 2 infos_0_masterId: XXXXXXX infos_0_share: false infos_0_plantPermission: gateway.unbind, gateway.add, gateway.download, inverter.setting.name, inverter.setting, inverter.delete, station.edit, station.delete, station.share.edit, station.generation.download, station.gateway.add, station.transfer, station.list.view, gateway.list.view, inverter.list.view, gateway.upload.cycle, station.share.view, smart.light.bind, smart.light.unbind, smart.light.setting, smart.light.view infos_0_existCamera: false infos_1_id: YYYYY infos_1_name: YYYYYYY infos_1_thumbUrl: https://static.inteless.com//plant/plant1.jpg@!650w infos_1_status: 1 infos_1_address: YYYYY infos_1_pac: 0 infos_1_efficiency: 0 infos_1_etoday: 19.6 infos_1_etotal: 4404.7 infos_1_updateAt: 2023-05-12T18:26:08Z infos_1_createAt: 2022-10-22T09:07:30.000+00:00 infos_1_type: 2 infos_1_masterId: YYYYYY infos_1_share: false infos_1_plantPermission_0_0: g..........
  12. hi there the installation was done with the 8kva as primary and the 5kva feeding off the 8kva aux. works like a charm. added all appliances on the 5kva (except geyser) and it is running like a boing. all excess power it needs that cannot be generated by the panels, it pulls from the 8kva and panel production that has. removes the island mode dependency with the aux from 8kva that is the "grid feed" on the 5kva. per day it sips about 1kw from the 8kva - a drop in the ocean compared to the 35kw or more production from 8kva per day.
  13. This is most helpful Gary. thanks for all the work on this, been smashing away at this the last few evenings and trying to get to the bottom of the two inverter issue that is not displaying. The 2nd plant displays in the developer tools, only shows one inverter. Differences on plant shown and HA (tested with just a plain card to see if it pulls events etc sucessfully) plant list = 2 inverter list = 1 - this baffles me, went though the flows and it collects inverter list, but nothing displays?
  14. Hi Jack from a parts perspective it seems they are identical.if you look at the sotware and the maturity of the sunsynk support/writeback capabilities of the dongle - that sold it for me. The Daye is a good inverter, I would just pay the extra +/- R4k for the sunsynk software and config capabilities. by the way, the solman management dongle for Daye is not he most user friendly and support for it is a pain in the neck (need admins, internal, external users setup to manage own plant and to handover, such a pain and not very commercially end user friendly to do) Sunsynk also develop a lot - they now have up to a 50kVA beast of an inverter... again, just my thoughts from a product perspective, decision still yours.
  15. if you manage to get the 2nd inverter from same plant, lets compare notes. I get errors and dont know if it due to independent setups of one inverter in home and another in cottage that is not linked on comms port?
  16. also stuck on the plant list and amount of inverters it is displaying. i have two inverters and the code only reveals one inverter that is top of the list in the page. although changing the inverter index for 2nd inverter, i feel that this might not be the right parameter for individually setup inverters for home and flat independently, rather for parallel configs? code reflects: ##### Put in your Plant Index for your Plant. 0 should work - sensor: - name: "Sunsynk plant index" state: "0" unique_id: "sensor.sunsynk_plant_index" ##### Put in your Invertor Index for your 1st Invertor. 0 should work - sensor: - name: "Sunsynk Invertor 1 index" state: "0" unique_id: "sensor.sunsynk_invertor_1_index" ##### Put in your Invertor Index for your 2nd Invertor. Only Change if you have 2 Invertors. default value is DONOTEDIT - sensor: - name: "Sunsynk Invertor 2 index" state: "DONOTEDIT" unique_id: "sensor.sunsynk_invertor_2_index"
  17. I have installed vir nodered pallette - now completes the flow. R00kie error
  18. Think I must be completely lost. Imported the flows, updated config.yaml and getting the following error on nodered. any ideas?
  19. Hi all, Some feedback on the setup. As depicted in the diagram and the hypothesis - the setup is working. The CT coil installed although the setup is done with ONLY the LOAD to power the home office. In the home office the DB is connected to the LOAD and all appliances working from there. The CT coil installed although there is no need as there is no measure for power to feed back on the GRID (coming from Aux on 8kVA). The setup serves the purpose and works as a "grid tied" solution. Will share settings and a video of the setup, all the settings and how it works soon. Regards, Francois
  20. Can't pop two out of Synk 50hz simewaves back to the same load? Just a thought. Hence the parralel config from SS that is needed with master and slave to Synk.
  21. Found this clip that helped in tests
  22. Seems inverter has power coming in on grid connection on SS and DB connected to load connection on SS. When sun is out, there is load, when sun gone no load. Have to set the settings to send back to GRID on DB and install the CT coil to stop feedback to Eskom GRID
  23. The setup only supports grid tied on the grid connection in the inverter. Make sure CT coil is installed and arrow shows the right way on coil. Your load will be distributed only on the GRID connection. You are most likely experiencing outages as the connection from the LOAD on inverter is connected, so everything you are feeding is only in load when sun is out. See clip from Keith:
  24. The more I think about it, I might consider using the 5kva grid tied and let it feed from eskom to reduce power consumption through solar and then just save up for a batt. will use the CT in a manner to stop feedback to grid on 8kva as the distance is too much between properties - exceeding the 20m limit for CT
  25. On the Aux setting s, if not on fen, then it opens up a whole new range of settings. I still learn of new ways to apply settings after a year of having it. So multi-dimensional for such an inverter. Also... Battery keeps the inverter on when not in grid tied solution, allowing to to deliver power on Aux. Can't say much for the firmware on Aux changes, but I know there are some changes on allowed Isc and VOC allowances on the pa els that they catered for. Trims over current and and voltages better.
