We have the Alpha Ess Smile 5. With 11.4kw backup. This system been installed August 2020. We never had any mayor issue with the system. The minor issues we had
 Failover switch and surge protector Eskom side burned during loadshedding.  Than during loadshedding we might use 1 to many appliances as we forgot that we on loadshedding  and the system trip. 
Only issue what I do have. We are a household of 6. Sometimes we need slightly more power. Wish you can add another  Smile 5 inverter parallel to current to up the kw usage. 
Said that. Our house is 360sqm under roof. The system does everything.  Only appliances not connected. Stove and 2 geysers. We dont have a pool pump nor borehole. 
I so wish I can get the new system as a my frail aunt in need of a system as she needs power for her oxygen machine. 2 hours loadshedding is fine but when the power trip after loadshedding it can take hours to get power back in that suburbs.
