  1. Yea I mean, If you are doing court proceeding then i have my documentation and images as in this post, but the marketing continues with them, and i haven't seen any positive reviews anywhere. As a whole wind is a difficult one in its current state, and yea well, The delivery took so long that when i wanted to reverse its passed the "period" form my card provider. Was really a bad and expensive mistake to trust them.
  2. I have generated more with my 500w turbine from aliexpress.
  3. @George Hickman There isn't a SA address, Its like a spread global distribution of websites with local domains to pretend it has a local presence. @YellowTapemeasure , Its trash, money waisted, to date not 0.1kwh generated. I eventually had to remove the Atlas 2 due to the shaft join failing, and at that stage it still did not generate 0.1kwh, i contacted them again, and they told me to tighten the screw, (its basically torn the screw out due to the bad design of the very short connection point between the blades and the turbines.) Furthermore the Delta is not ideally suited for this as the delta takes a while to do the calculations before it starts to sync and invert, so the turbine kind of speeds up, then slows down, its not anywhere less noisy as advertised, so i would technically have to build a frame around this turbine to support the axle from the top, as the join on the bottom is not string enough, the generation unit, is very very level, so there should have been no reason for turbine play, yet. here we are again. money pissed into the wind, you will fond more and more videos online of complaints. comments turned off on all their official platforms., It really is a fake it till you make it company it seems, and they not making it, on the service side, on the support side, just a mess. Seems a huge overlap between their designs/online designs, and they manufacturing quality. But yea, looking forward to any other feedback.
  4. Hi Guys Finally had some positive feedback from Delta SA offering some assistance on the Inverter part, If all else fails, then i could just add panels to it, I did hear your comment re the startup voltage, but mine managed to reach that without to much wind. SO I don't think that that was my issue. Will keep you guys posted, As for Tesup, I would stay well clear of them, both from a product, manufacturing and service point of view on the ATLAS 2. Cant speak for their other units thou. The design of the unit should work well, and i will be honest the smoke and mirrors on the tesup website and their marketing did catch me a bit, does look like its a wonderful unit on the website and on paper. Haven't been able to test the DELTA stuff as per yet.
  5. So after months of fighting it seems we are at a dead end. The Ema portal wants an distributor login, and i am an end user for that unit. After then saying, that i am not having any luck with the portal: Now i feel that if you resell something you make a markup, and that should cover client service, but i guess not in this case. So upon asking for a refund, i get this reply. I also wanted to point out that I never received a video with the power generation, nor an report, nor an manual, and the Labels were paper pasted on. So disappointed in this, and I would not recommend this to anyone. And then in regards with the entire process, it took them from the 7th of December to 10th of March, to just tell me to RMA the unit myself? How pathetic. I have now contacted Delta South Africa's representation, but now the unit is already more than 4+ months old (depending when they shipped it), so all in all its has not been great.
  6. to date 0kw generated.
  7. So i have requested a refund from them for this, i guess the installation and time waisted on this is my school fees.
  8. So at the end of all of it, I may have ordered something from China, and hoped for the best, in my experience that has been a lot easier with returns, and service.
  9. So 6 months after the ticket was opened they refer me to the manufacturer of the inverter, and that I should RMA the unit myself. The process itself is layer upon layer of registrations, that don't have any flow or guide, i am still stuck with that process (just the registration) as it seems their portal is for Distributors, as an entire process, this has been a failure of note! Pathetic, and i will never recommend this company to anyone, from piss poor manufacturing to shocking service.
  10. Tesup finally came back and said that they agree the Grid Tie Inverter has an issue, But as yet, has not come forth with a resolution as to swapping it out or anything. The Experience so far is very poor. With no resolution in sight.
  11. The Response on 15 Dec for reference: Got another response today for reference:
  12. Started getting emails now that is asking me questions relating to my windspeed, and such, evetime you reply you have to go and open a new ticket, and upload a video, Albeit i have told them many times that its the grid tie inverter that does not spawn wifi to get configured. So it remains unconfigured, they have even wrote me on the 15th of December saying that they should have feedback soon, Its now almost been 3 months 0w generation.
  13. Still waiting on a resolution from them.
  14. Well the shocking thing is it’s a UK based company, haven’t had any luck with their local address or phone number.
  15. Shaving in the unit that occurred while brake has been engaged, and some rust forming down the shaft, Also mentionable is that the Gromit seal on the cables has already started to perish.
  16. Just an Update for you guys that are interested. Its now been a month since i have received the unit, It has still produced 0kw, and has been on brake all the time, waiting for feedback from Tesup for the Grid tie inverter. We did a check on the unit, and found excruciating results. Most of the bolts have loosened themselves, and some where completely missing of the Unit. I believe its due to bad manufacturing, as its seems that it just normal nuts and bolts used here, there is no sign of any Loctite, locknuts or spring washers, anywhere on the unit, I am overly disappointed with the build quality of the unit at the price point, and expected much more. Some Picture of what i found, So not only did i have to get it installed, it has also now been removed, serviced, and reinstalled, after a month, with 0KW Production. Rust and Shaft loose, these were installed from the inside as well, so when they got loose they collapsed onto the flywheel, since the nuts keeping the motor and the flywheel tentioned were loose, the belt was allowing some movement i assume, led to a lot of wear and tear. Wear from bolts collapsing inwards, while the unit has been on Brake all the time. Loose no locktnuts Unsure if this belt supplied is even the spec for the belt that was supposed to be used?
  17. For me the answer to all those questions were no. You should be able to just poll the Mosbus from hass.io with the other EG that I put it ward, I would assume the tx light should flash none the less, perhaps check that you have the right rights for the port on Linux and run the modbus tcp software in debug mode and check that all is good?
  18. So the take home concern for me with this design: Pylon BMS and the inverter always communicate, SOC, Voltage, max discharge, and then the important one, max charge rate. The following condition could occur with battery.volts below 52v let’s say at a SOC of 40. Pylon -> inverter : Please supply 20 Amps max, I’m recovering,( this is around 1000w and is no issue from your solar, it’s safe and regulated for all parties. ) Now the wind picks up, and is able to supply 1000w, that’s another 20amps. Effectively you are now charging your batteries at 40amps. So in short, the pylon BMS has no recourse, it has no reason to now tell the inverter to stop supplying 20amps, since it has no reason to believe there is any other input the the DC bus, and therefor the feature of the BMS becomes useless. Therefor my belief is to have the wind connected to a grid tie, and that connected to a GEN input of an inverter so that the inverter can decide what to do, (or grid tie with 0 export) that is if you don’t have a fully communicative system like VictronConnect, or so, sadly it is in these cases where the extra money people struggle justify to spent on Victron stuff does help you.
  19. Well, It's potentially a very useful port, Quite some people use it as for a Geyser or heat pump, but you could in the same regard with hardware integration put a device on there to monitor if the port is open on closed, and then use some forms of automation to control other devices like pool pumps and so forth without having to rewire the Geyser/Pool pump, I have recently started getting data of the Sunsync with a Raspi as a Modbus TCP unit, and then node red to do the rest, but havent really applied much of that data beside the active power/daily stats, and then on Grid input disconnect, the estimated Runtime left at load.
  20. After Sales Service I have found the service extremely Lacking, and i feel that there is no communication channel for me that i have not exhausted, there is no ability to directly reply to a message, and you have to log in, and complete a form each time you want to get a message across. My first Problem was logged on 07/12/2020 My first answer on time frame, i was told an engineer would get back to me within 1~2 days. This seems extremely excessive for an out of box failure. on 09/12/2020 They reported on 14/12/2020 on 15/12/2020 I have not followed up further and have not had any success. My opinion is that i bought a complete solution, and do not deserve a run around, Their SA phone number does not seem to be working.
  21. Assembly and Commissioning There were some loose Hex nuts on my units at the top and the bottom, It seemed they just turned, as if they may have gotten loose in transit, They seemed to just turn freely, and since i was unsure of the purpose, and the seemed to be loose, i left them in that state. (3 top 3 bot) As mentioned there was no Quick Guide, but the assembly was more or less forthcoming, I was short one longer bolt for the top, the rest of the assembly went easily, there was some guess work, and things that i am still unsure about, like the distance the bottom part needs to be from the housing on the shaft, aka how far the one shaft needs to go into the other. The Tesup Charge controller brackets were not supplied correctly, and was therefore unable to easily mount to the wall. The Grid Tie inverter seems of decent quality, but has no display or any other inputs besides wifi, and that just has 1 button, This may be fine for many people, But mine is not working, it just flashes like it is not configured, but there is no Wifi AP. (to date is still not, after logging a call with Tesup on 07/12/2020) there has been no forward motion or resolution to this, the unit is still with me, and i have had no resolution. As to date i have not generated any power with this unit. My integration is via the Aux port on a SunSynk 8.8Kva inverter, since my solar MPPT chargers are both populated i have opted to utilize the Aux Load port as a Micro Inverter Port. On paper this seem like a no brainer, this however has not been tested.
