Axpert MAX II 8KVA
Sorry my English is bad. The voltage of MPPT1 can be seen in the picture. Cloudy day. The factory firmware could not keep the panels at their working point. And from 330V it is stuck at 120V. Coulomb modified firmware never freezes on 120v. I am grateful to him for that! Unfortunately, my supplier cannot provide a new firmware. 81.07 is currently the latest for the 8Kw model.

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
A little interesting! I updated the inverter to the 81.07 factory firmware. The weather is bad now. Solar cable is disconnected in the inverter. 120v voltage stuck! 81.07 you won't be on the inverter for long!:) 281.05 fixed firmware not stuck!

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
Hello. I updated the inverter! 22.21 81.07 Unfortunately, it is still not possible to set the battery SOC-based switching in menu 12 - 13! It only works on a voltage basis! I will continue to correspond with the supplier.

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
Hello. I received firmware from the supplier. DSP.: 81.07 Display: 22.21 I already read that 81.07 exists, but 22.11 is still new to me. What I complained about is that there is no SOC-based switching. I got the new firmware for this. Do you have any information about these firmwares? I haven't done the update yet. I'm planning for the weekend because the electricity needs to be disconnected from the apartment.

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
I am now in correspondence with the seller. I complained that the 12-13 program does not work based on SOC and I would like to receive the latest firmware. Now we are at the point where your engineer wants to look at the inverter remotely. And enter the wifi password of the inverter. But nothing like that! This is going to be a long process! :((

Hello. At my request, you modified it for me! This is it.

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
Hello. Merry Christmas! Now I have time to deal with my hobby!:)) I use the SOLTARO protocol and for me the 12-13 programs can still be set based on voltage! It is not possible to set based on SOC! What am I messing up? I use display firmware 22.20.

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
I thought that in Line mode you connect the input to the output. The solar only charges the battery. I looked at the block diagram. The output and input are connected to the DC/AC converter in line mode. One more question! In SBU mode, with a discharged battery, is there no risk of feeding back to the network?

Axpert Max ii 8kw: use grid as generator and control with program 12 and 13
Excuse me!!! I wrote it wrong!!! I use the Soltaro protocol.

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
I got lost in the settings of the inverter! Help me figure it out! I use SBU mode! If the battery runs out, it switches to line mode. I think that in this case the PV only charges the battery and does not help the grid. In reality, the PV helps the grid and only charges the battery when the PV production is more than the output load. Is this a correct operation???

Axpert Max ii 8kw: use grid as generator and control with program 12 and 13
I use jk bms! ESP32 reads the data from the bms and sends it to the inverter via LIB protocol. So far I have stopped charging based on SOC. 85% do not drain the battery further. But I realized that this is not the best way! I am modifying the program to charge the battery based on voltage. I receive SOC, voltage and current data from bms. The program can be modified so that it switches to the network based on SOC. The voltage values 12-13 must be sent in the LIB protocol. So an ESP32 can be solved.

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
It works! The battery didn't run down all summer and I couldn't try it. But recently there have been days when the battery died and the dry contact connected the mains and then the inverter switched to line mode. Another question. Has anyone disconnected the power supply line between the MAX 2 auxiliary power supply and mppt??? What are the disadvantages of disconnecting it?

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
Hello masters. I need advice! I use my Axpert MAX II inverter in SBU mode. But the grid input of the inverter is switched off. Because if there is a network input, it supplies the internal power supply from the network at night. If there is no network, it supplies the internal power supply from a battery. There's nothing wrong with that in the summer. But in winter it happens that the battery runs down and switches to line mode. I would like to connect a relay and control it with the dry contact. I have attached the wiring and the operation of the dry contact. According to the 12 program, it switches to line mode and tightens the dry conductor. But what happens if there is no network input? Does the dry contact turn on? Because I think that if there is no network, the inverter does not switch to line mode but switches off based on program 29, which is the Low DC cut-off voltage. But if the dry contact turns on based on the 12 program, which connects the inverter to the network via a relay, does it switch from SBU mode to line mode? Does what I want work?

Axpert MAX II 8K BMS problem with Pylontech
Hello. I implemented the SOLTARO protocol. Communicates on the SOLTARO CAN bus! I tried to implement the LIB protocol, but it didn't accept my response message either. That's why I decided on the SOLTARO protocol on the CAN bus. My goal was that the battery should not be charged 100% by the inverter.

Axpert MAX II 8K BMS problem with Pylontech
Hello. I also managed to implement the SOLTARO protocol! I use JK-bms. I considered it important that the Axpert max II does not charge the battery to 100%. I added CAN communication to the syssi/esphome-jk-bms project and added the sending of messages to the inverter. Charge the battery for as long as I specified. Thanks for the great information on the forum. Thanks to Coulomb for a lot of work and information!

Axpert Max II, 10kW
Hello. You made this firmware for me a few months ago. I am grateful for it! It has been on the inverter ever since. I would like to ask if you have changed it since then? Did you just change the PV voltage, etc.? Should I update this or is it the same as a few months ago? I have a display firmware update. Max 2 8kw, dsp28066. Are you interested? Shall I send it?

My axpert max II 8k also updates production data every hour. Also on the inverter and the watchpower application. Now I'm trying to find some sensible data collection solution.

Axpert Max II, 10kW
I really like what's going on here! Coulomb fixed my axpert II 8k inverter firmware. But it can definitely be improved. I would like to help you at work! But unfortunately I don't know assembly language. And the inverter has two stings of the same size but with different orientations. I have a video of the factory firmware 90v getting stuck. After SBU-SUB switching, the PV voltage jumps, but within a short time it gets stuck at 90v again. I hope I can help.

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
Hi Coulomb. I uploaded the firmware. It worked without a problem. Main CPU Firmware version from 81.02 to 81.04 Unfortunately, the problem was not solved! Production improved a lot in cloudy weather. (it became at least double) Huge progress! But only if the PV voltage is not stuck at 90v. This is very difficult to do in cloudy weather. If I switch from SBU mode to SUB mode and back again, the 90v jam is overcome and production starts. If I send you the firmware and ask you very nicely, can you fix it? I really want a solution to the problem because I miss a lot of solar energy. I wrote to the seller. I look forward to your next solution.

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
Hi. I received a software update from the seller. He did not provide a description of the process. The inverter manual does not cover the software update in detail. Before I make a brick out of the inverter, I ask first. Do you think it is safe? Should the inverter be switched off? Should I power it from a battery? Or network voltage? Could you write a few lines how you would do it? Thank you for your help.

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
I didn't even see a number there with a magnifying glass. But it really is. I just don't want to take it apart again. Although you don't need to remove it from its place. Only the front panel needs to be removed. I don't know the brand. It has "MPPT Solar Iverter" on the sticker. Model name "MAX II-8000. QR code "Originally manufactures by Voltronic Power" I am waiting for the seller's response. Would it be worth writing to Voltronic support as well?

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
Do I understand correctly? Are you decompressing the translated HEX file? Do you like challenges!:)) All my respect to you! Your work for the community is priceless! I am taking the inverter apart because I want to replace the fan in it. I will photograph everything from the inside! I identify the chip. If it helps you, I will share the pictures and information. Main CPU firmware.: 81.02 Secondary CPU firmware.: 22.14 (Watchpower shows 122.14)

Axpert MAX II 8KVA
Hi Coulomb. I contacted the Alibaba seller. I got the usual answer. " Forwarded to the engineer" I am waiting and trusting that I will receive a firmware. I trusted you to have a solution! Do you think anyone else has similar problems with the Axpert MAX 2 inverter? Or it just affects me. Where can I get the source code for inverters? The video clearly shows my problem. It was bad lighting and fog. After switching to SUB-SBU mode, the PV voltage increased. Then it dropped to 90V.
