Is it two SNA's? I have exactly the same problem and the supplier suffers to get it sorted out! What is more annoying is that now, after a year, one fan of the first Luxpower I bought packed up. Exactly the same thing happened with the units of two of my neighbours. When one was sent in for repairs (under warranty) the supplier indicates that it was due to moisture ingress. This unit, like mine, was installed indoors in a garage. The third one in a kitchen. We are in Glentana. It now boils out that the SNA's are not suitable for being installed at the coast. But nowhere, absolutely nowhere, can this information be found in the installation manuals or on websites! What must be done?
  2. 1. What must the different current settings be when connecting 2 Luxpower SNA5000 inverters connected to 2 Shoto SDC-10 Box 5 batteries in parallel. 2. How many RCA485 communication cable must be connected between the 2 inverters? 3. Is only 1 CAN connection between the battery bank and the inverters necessary and to which inverter does it have to be connected?

I'm connecting 1 string of 4 450W solar panels to my Luxpower SNA 5000. Must I split the supply in two before connecting it to the inverter or can I keep the single supply and use only one of the PV inputs?
  4. Good afternoon, I installed a Luxpower SNA5000 inverter with a single Shoto SDC10-Box 5 (5.12kWh) battery a few days ago. The supplier advised me to set it up using a Lead-Acid configuration, apparently because of communication problems between Luxpower and Shoto. Everything works very good using the setup figures he gave me. My questions are: 1. How/where do I see if the battery BMS communicates with the inverter? I modified the comms cable to match the pin connections as given by Shoto, so, I have a feeling that it should work, but I can't see it. 2. Apart from using the correct pin connections, are there any other setup details required to get communication going? 3. What is best for the battery, to have it set up as Li-Ion and allow the BMS and inverter communication to do the work? 4. If proper communication is established, are there any specific setup figures that have to be put in anyway? For example, do I use SOC or Volts?
