Firmware Update Request for Axpert VM III-4000 TWIN (U1 & U2)
Hi On FTP side there is DSP firmware too. Togather with Display 57.22.I think they are stable. Here I upload 60.14 DSP firmware. VM TWIN_60.14.7z

So We are at the same latitude . Allmost At mine Twin 6K there is no such excess differences in current . I compared it with what BMS shows but I should it check by multimeter, and when It is 0A axpert shows 0. Panel Voltages at MPP at average shows +8V compared to 60.95.

There are a couple differences between fw 60.95 or 60.10 with this 68.13 FW: MPPT works slightly differently . MPP in 68.13 is achived at higher voltage so there is more power at the same current. This is charts from SA. Temperature outside is nearly the same so conditions is comparable. 60.95 68.13 I should check it by multimeter for sure In bypass at SBU and Solar only mode 68.13 not charging battery from the grid (was 2.7A in 60.95) but draws 0.7A from battery. It may be positive or negative impact depends what you want to achive. Cooling is about the same at low load but is less agressive at high load so it may be negative impact in places with hot climate. When charging from sun cooling is the same in both fw. This is chart load+charging from grid 2.5kW . In opposite in 60.95 fan revs goes to max at about 40oC. Here we have 48oC and revs did not go to max.

I upgraded DSP fw from 60.95 and Inwerter annouced itself like: I do not upgrade MCU fw because I do not see any VMIII inwerter on voltronic site with rated power 6.2 kW. So now works , but I needed to do calibration battery voltage -0.7 V. Fans are quiet . Testing is goin on.

new firmware has appeared for vmIII 6kw twin VM III_TWIN_6813.7z and MCU wth different number 28.03. How it is compared with 25.15 ?? Is it safe to upgrade and do not brick the inverter. Remote Panel_Reflash_MCU(2803).7z and for vmIV 6 kw twin VM TWIN_84.03.7z

I bought it in SP24 Italy in 2022. They claimed it is an Axpert.Maybe early models they were unfinished or it is some kind of clone but apart from that issue it works OK.

My settings: 26- 55.5V 27- 54.9V Yes. Charging (current not stop and do not change too)do not stop until reach settings 27 (float voltage) but never goes to 26(bulk) if it is above 27. Practicaly inverter bulk settings is ignored and always equals float .Side effect: premature bug as if it didn't exist. I think for LFP is not a big issue. Yes. Something triggers that diode stop blinking so early.

Thanks for response. 860.96 not fixed it in my inverter. In the morning diode blinking that states that it is in the bulk state but goes far too early to float state often below 54V (this is not one point of voltage but within narrow range ) . So never arrives absorbtion point. So I charge may batteries to float point ( here 54.9V) . This is the picture how it goes today. Blue circle indicates zone when inverter switches to float state. I think it might be a hardware problem because this happens both when charging from the sun and from the grid.

Yes starts difeers .I do not know why.

If there is no enaugh current to start mptt at the chart voltage is about 60V and this is not stuck at it but simply can not start because lack of current in low light conditions . This is normal. Next if it goes at about 70V mptt starts working but only for self consumption of the inverter .No production on chart. After , a some time if current rises above self consumption inverter start showing production. In winter go parallel with panels so they double current hence mptt better reacts for low light. Chart from today. Winter is coming

Ad.1 I use APL too because keeps 0A charging battery from grid at bypass in SBU and "Solar only". At UPS it is drawing 2.7A from grid(135W). It's stable 2.7A not cycled. It is 6kW model. Inverter LCD panel do not show charging battery but BMS and clamp meter yes. More... inverters grid usage do not measure it so it is big gap between load+battery charging and grid usage if inverter is in bypass at UPS+SBU+Solaronly combo. Ad2 Yes but is very little noticable for me (noticed it after 2 month of use inverter) so do not bother me at all .I think is noticable more at low SoC of battery.

Mine inverter is not connected to bms. Both BMS and inverter are connected to SA.Inverter settings for battery is set tu "USER"

It happens on grid too.I checked it at night. At the begining for example at 20% of SOC diode is blinking but goes early solid on .
