Load does work @RowanB . This is a hairdryer in action.

  2. Thanks
Please see example. Grid seems 100%, I unfortunately do not have load or PV connected yet. I will try and get a temp extension lead added for a test load this weekend and revert back.

For solar assistant you can try this, Works on 5kw unit with usb printer cable, also make sure inverter powered on via bottom toggle.

Ok so I will give a bit of an update on my 8kw OmniVolt.

I have installed everything and am running 6 x 600w panels through the one MPPT. Solar is working great.

Had a few niggles with the programming and discharge of the battery. I have found that the inverter is an SRNE, specifically the ASF48100s200-H (can be seen on the comms PCB and Inverter PCB). This is the same one that is in the Sun Gold Power inverters. Seems to be a pretty good inverter from what I can find online. I have attached the manual which has ALL the information and settings 😅. This should make everyones life a bit easier. The ASF number actually corresponds with the 10kw inverters, so I would assume they just using a downrated 10kw in the 8kw Omnivolt...

If your battery is discharging to 10% like mine was, you need to update parameters 58 onwards (look in the manual). These are the SoC values, where all the earlier values correspond to voltage.

I am still having some weird things happening, like it changed the communication between the inverter and the BMS back to RS485, instead of keeping it on SLA.

The last issue I am having is that the ESS app does not show any of the LOAD states. I can get the BMS and Solar info, but nothing on the load. I have also tried using the IPower App which communicates with SRNE inverters, but I can also only see BMS and solar info. Not sure if everyone else is managing to see the load information?

Initial SoC is 61%. I wanted to connect AC to charge up but it seems config is needed first as the battery type is set as GEL and AC charging at 80A default.
There is no specs anywhere in the manual or sticker on the unit. (unless I'm blind and cant see the sticker)

    In the box I received:
Wi-Fi data logger dongle that connects to SmartESS app.
    USB to RS485 cable
Some normal electrical wire (maybe 10M)
Some other electrical cable (looks like it has got battery terminal connectors?)
    Semi Assembled Combiner Breaker box.
    Generic "Manual" for all models.
Then some other 2 pair twisted cable possible for Comms I assume.
Photos Attached. Let me know if I can provide anything more.

This manual references the exact same parameters and defaults:

I dont have a Power4Less inverter but have a Sunsynk.
While idling, the inverter uses about 60watts per hour. Much the same you are seeing.

Ok so looks like this is the case, the box on the outside says "None" but inside there is a dedicated instructions pamphlet showing how to connect up to 6 units in parellel.
I've had time to open the box and take a bunch of photos. I put them all in an Google Photos album you can view here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/9ztPDuSfYZrBEz7G8

I've scanned the two manuals so that it's easier to read, see attached:

Basef on what I see on the sude sticker, yes you can connect to grid. However thid modeks are very basic snd very limited. No of panels sounds excessive.
  11. Thanks
@Roelof go to www.mustpower.com. its the PV18 Vbm inverter.
  12. Thanks
I have the same inverters. Manufacturer OEM is MUST. See attachment.
Let me know if you want me to scan my manual for you.

Does anyone know who the manufacturer of Solarman inverters is? I wamt a wifi dongle for the PS 6800VA. Solarman is not being helpful in this regard.

On this page you can get the specs and a quote for this inverter. May be you can get more details from them.
It seems like the display is just like the 145V MPPT Axpert/Mecer models. The manual for the Axpert might match the settings on your inverters and a good start.

RoelofDeJager got a reaction from TI-Diesel in Schubart Solar Inverter Manual and Capabilities
Hi all, new here and have seen a few mentions of this "German" inverter but not the specific query.
Recently moved into house with 2x Schubart inverters (Model Name: PS 6800VA), 4x 4kwp LiFe batteries and 24x 340W panels.
Previous owner misplaced the manual and I believe the monitoring software that came with the inverter. Does anyone know where I can find these online or otherwise?
Additionally, the previous owner appears to not have connected the inverters to the grid and instead used a switch to manually switch between solar/batteries and Eskom. I know, I know... I've seen a lot mentioned about off-grid inverters, would this model be able to use Eskom in addition to the solar/battery inputs?
Any help or advice much appreciated.
