the battery will be directly next to the inverter, so nothing too far. In this case 100A fuses should be sufficient? or would lower be preferable?

Thanks for the heads up. The battery has a peak discharge of 100A for 15s so the 80A fuses should be ok then with the additional settings on the inverter set to 70A like you've said. Have to request an RMA from the people I bought this kit from now 😑

Disconnector fuse question
Currently receiving my loadshedding gear and the AC kit just arrived. For preface I have a Luxpower SNA5000 and a Dyness BX51100. The AC kit I bought was supposed to ship with 80A fuses for the battery disconnect but found there to be 160A fuses in the box. Are these fuses ok to use for my setup or should I be requesting smaller fuses to be sent to me?

Luxpower SNA-5000 + generator question
I've been eyeing out the Luxpower SNA-5000 for a loadshedding backup system for a few weeks now. I've been wondering how it performs with generator power? I have a 5Kva generator I can connect in the interim whilst I save over the next few months for batteries. My first question is ; 1) with generator power can it swap over back to grid autonomously once the power returns, effectively leaving the generator on idle or will this require manual switching? 2) Will the transfer time be quick enough on gen power for my household appliances to keep running when it swaps back to grid power? My plan is to pick up the inverter now, run off of gen power whenever loadshedding hits and then eventually hook up about 10kwh of batteries to the system when I have the money.
