  1. Hey all, Have 3phase system from 1phase 3x 6kw inverters in parallel. (Master A, Master B, Master C) I brought 8kw 3phase generator to cover any power outages at winter. Generator is connected to AUX port. The problem is. I set minimum Gen power in Aux settings (like 600w) which should be accordingly 3x600w= 1.8kw. The system doesnt start normaly. It ticks for power and drops off. I clear all loads at the inverters by turning the house breaker switches (so the house icon is 0), and the system starts with 600w power. Okay another approach. I set Gen power in Aux settings 2500W which should be accordingly 7,5kw The system start normal. Loads on inverters are present, all works good. Until any of the inverters have a 2-3kw load power spike. Gennie falls off, and then reconnects. The house lights during this process flicker a bit, TV can turn off. I guess it is due to single phase asymmetric overload of the generator. Am i missing something, shouldn't the inverter only allow to consume the max Gen power i set (500w? 2200W?) Why am i unable to boot with 500w setting? Maybe any check box tick is needed in settings? Ideally for me is that Aux port should only go to the battery, and Loads go only from battery. Inverter is making an GEN AC passthrough to LOAD for easier working conditions. Any spike on 1 phase drops off the gennie for me.
  2. As i said, im currently running 2 Sunsynk 6k 1ph inverters Inverter_1 connected to phase A Inverter_1 connected to phase B+C(i dont have 3ph loads, so thats okay for me now) have battery bank with busbar connected with 2 BMS(there is no way i can connect 2 BMS to the inverter_1 it is DIY so that the only way it can be) BMS_1 goes to Inverter_1 BMS_2 goes to Inverter_2 Inverter_1 is charging the battery bank using night grid and PV If BMS_1 reports error, inverter_1 accepts error and stop. (but inverter_2 is still working) If BMS_2 reports error inverter_2 accepts error and stop. (but inverter_1 is still working) So the question is, if i make Inverter_1 Master at phase A Inverter_2 Master at phase B connect them using cable, will they communicate about the error codes BMS send to them and resend to other inverter to stop?
  3. Glory to the Heroes, Occupants will face it all! have a newbie question about future installing my PV I have 2 inverters connected to the house with batteries now. my CT coils get the totall power data my household consumes My garage and guest house are off the inverter. So i have CT load for example 2kwt/hr, and my house load 1kwt/hr. Will i be able to feed my garage with excess sun production? i suppose just to tick the zero export to grid and leave zero export to CT unticked. Will it work like that? Btw here is my setup, its still messy and unfinished but the overall work is seen (batteries are 2x12kwt Li Nmc)
  4. Thank you for answering. I'm from Ukraine, We had this whole winter with blackouts(no power, internet, cell) and timed energy outages (10 days-3 hours power total it got worse it got better it was cycling) due to the russian invasion and strikes on civilian energy plants, so i went battery backup first, and installing solar for better usage. We are expecting outages even in summer and next winter can be really catastrophic Gasoline generator is pain when you need power on constant basis, it is winter, my hot water pumps should be spining. And lots of liters of gasoline 3 canisters a day is a pain also
  5. Thanks for the explanation mate, So Amperage is not a big deal, Clipping will reduce production but production will not stop. Cooling the radiator- im on it already will be installing 2x120mm fans in the bottom or top The main thing is not to exceed Voltages and they look good for me. What is your thought. My String setup would be fine? 8+8 panels with 540 panels with specs i gave on top?
  6. Clipping means turning off power production and turning on when there is less sun? (sorry thats my first PV field, can ask dumb questions) My Deye (sunsynk) inverter is heating DC chip to 70C degree on battery charge, so i will be installing fans to cool him down, this will also help at solar production cooling In other case i have 2nd deye 6k (they share one bus battery bar) , so i will just hook one string on that one. The question - is that a good choice 8 panels with those specs on 6k inverter
  7. Thank you for your info, a real person widely explained installation example is so much appreciated! I will be installing Pv on 6k Inverter which is similar to 5K, same DC, just more PV and AC power. And came to conclusion of you are writing of I want to install 8x545 Longi solar (12.97A 49Voc STC) in my calculations even with 50 degree shift (from 20c temp to -30c) i will get posiible more 7 volts so im in range of 500v (8x (49+7)= 448V maximum And in normal condition 41x8= 328volts ( im seeing same voltages at yours at around 300-360) My question is how about the Amp current, Inverter maximum is 13A, My chosen solar panel is Isc 12.97A and Imp is way higher 13.78 - Is there any worries about that, or i should only worry about Voc overvoltage configuring the strings ? I made a calculation in Sol-Ark calc and used their 5k Inverter 8+8 panels and worried about Isc Min Max
  8. I tried to make a sketch of your cable youre using, so you used a daly Bms_CAN=>USB cable, cutted some cables on the side of the Daly side plug (can-h can-l) and soldered a ethernet cable (with corresponding pins according to sunsynk bms port pinout). a sketch is looking like this, tried to explain what i understood. What is the advantage of using in mode of only displaying BMS voltage? no cells, no temperature. I am using a custom built LG chem e-tron battery with Daly 16s bms right now, and i am forced to set it to Battery V mode (with agm equalization, float etc) So what has changed at yours after you switched to other operation mode?
  9. If i have a 1 phase gen connected to my house wiring so it gives 220v on all 3 phases (fake 3 phase as i can call) will it charge
  10. m starting with a 3 phase invertor right now too and the question is can i run my 1 phase generator which powers the whole house 3 phases (fake three phases just a 220volts on every phase from gens 1 phase so it could power up Inverter (all three phases would be that fake i told before) so the inverter charges the battery? or i only need a 3 phase generator and there is no way of charging a 3ph Inverter with a 1 phase gen (options are: gen current goes to inverter grid, gen current goes to inverter aux-gen input, gen current goes to aux -mikroinverter
  11. Im starting with a 3 phase invertor right now too and the question is can i run my 1 phase generator which powers the whole house 3 phases (fake three phases just a 220volts on every phase from gens 1 phase so it could power up Inverter (all three phases would be that fake i told before) so the inverter charges the battery? or i only need a 3 phase generator and there is no way of charging a 3ph Inverter with a 1 phase gen (options are: gen current goes to inverter grid, gen current goes to inverter aux-gen input, gen current goes to aux -mikroinverter )
  12. i suppose you brought a Daly cable RS485, cutted the USB side and plugged the Ethernet connector on that cable and got to sunsynk port by the colours you described right?
  13. So you did manage to hook up Daly with Sunsynk? what cable did you use to insert in to Daly and Sunsynk
  14. Hey all! Im in start of installing a Deye Inverter (its like Sunsynk). Im from Ukraine, and we had bunch of problems this winter due to war so i will need to be backed up better. So my install will be following: Deye Sun-12K-SG04LP3 (3 phase 12kwt) Batteries 2x 8s3p Lithium NMC(VW electro car blocks) paired as 16S with Daly BMS (thus i will have them running on 60 volts (80% charge) with no danger of overcharge (i just dont want to tear off the car blocks and cut it to 14S, just let it be. Blocks are 6.85kwt x2 =14 kwt i will have like 10Kwt by not fully charging them which suits me on the price i will get it) And have such builds twice is 20Kwt of stored in battery power. Also planning a 5-10 kWt PV, which will work in summertime, winters are dark and expect only 10% of summer production. Have several questions on my installation guys: 1) Max voltage Deye can run the battery is 60 volts or i can somehow adjust more? a bit maybe 61 or 62 would be ideal 2)I dont have like a green tariff so i will not able to sell excess PV electricity to the grid. Well i can send it but it will not affect any of my bills. Am i right if i set invertor to sell the excess production and if i have any device runing that is not connected to the Load or Aux load it will firstly "catch" that electricity and if i dont have any running it will just flow to the grid? Why asking because i will not hook up all my house on inverter cos i have some powerful loads (pool pump 7kwt, water heater 3kwt-21kwt) if they run not connected to inverter will i have some juice on them? 3) I also have a PowMR 6.2kWt from aliexpress inverter laying which i planned to install firstly but got deep in to the topic and figured out that what i need is Deye. Well i can sell it, or use it with another 3rd battery and here is questions of how to do it on AUX port Gen input method (i will have my PowMR inverter hoocked up to gen Input with a set up load like 3-4Kwt and Deye will call it when needed to feed the batteries up Microinverter input (Same thing) Other method Forget Deye connection and use PowMr with a battery just for my server rack with all the Pumps and thermostats i have for a long long time running that (500W/h load) 24h work time offgrid. On this setup if i have 2 hybrid inverters hooked up in one house supplying different loads that wont cross. Invertors not connected to each other by any sync cable (powmr doesnt support that) will i have any crash boom bang in any case (grid off, grid on, electricity being sold to grid (question #2 is still a question) Sorry for beeing noob, im in a early begining.

  16. What are the highest voltage i can set on an inverter what are the highest voltage the inverter can go work with a battery? i have a two Li-NMC batteries 8s3p batteries together forming 16s3p witch has the most charged voltage of around 66 volts but i dont want it to be charged so high, i would love to have 62 volts for example to make the battery life longer i suppose inverter has only 60volts maximum, no other method to make it a bit higher? i thought about an external charger hooked up to a battery to run at night on offpeak making a bit more juice from 60 the invertor charges to 62 for example. Would that be normal?
