Hi Everyone I've recently Installed 50Kw Deye Inverter with 36 JA 555 watts Panels and 6 pieces of 5,12 High Voltage. Intially the Production was good to Approximately 130kwh from Solar.My Panels are in two strings.First string is of 12 Panels in Series with the Voc of 49,9v per panel and an imp of 13A Second string is of series parallel connection 24 panels in 12 panels per string x 2 then Parallelled together Recently the production from the solar is really down to 0,80kwh per day ,The maximum Power send to the inverter is below 100w according to my monitoring System what could be the cause of This downfall in production thank you

Good day Power Forum, my lovely Family. Another day With another Problem. I've recently visited an Installation which had a problem of Power surge of above 400VAC (picture attached) but only on certain plugs .The SPD specifications are as follows-Imax 10kA -IN 5kA Up1.5kV.- Uc 275V, and Earth leakage with no Overload protection. Yes the inverter is being supplied before Earth leakage. Now the problem is after a period of about 10 minutes the earth leakage is tripping together with the Gyser Breaker but that doesn't affect The System. That E/L is only Supplying to the Stove And Gyser. And Also in what state does Those indicators has to be always on? What are the side effects of having Dc cables and AC cables in the same conduit?

Good day Everyone Hope you all good. I've been up all day trying to figure out my upcoming project System Size. Headache is killing me now ,maths isn't for everyone 🤗. Ok here is the setup of my system. There is 3 water pumps=3 kw three Phase, and 2 of 1,5kw Single phases and the house is pulling 18 kw from the Grid. So considering the start up power for morors I'm doubling the wattage for pumbs to 12kw + 18kw for the house it comes to 30kw. The client want the pumbs to run even during at night using batteries and also he wants to put panels that will able to supply during the day and charge the battery at the same time. So my question is how many batteries would be good for the system and panels array (550w) that will operate as specified Will also appreciate the workout process to learn Thank you

At 16m² you'll a voltage drop of around 4_5% for cabling sizing only before wiring, crimping and anything else that adds up the drop Rather go for thicker cable like 35mm² - 75mm² to cover the Losses

@Kilowatt Power thank you for your input...but the battery capacity is quite different from my set Up..mine it's 3,5kwh /74 AH with the maximum Discharge of 2.4 Kwh/50 AH and Charging Current of 50 A...do i still need to go for 70sqm cable and 200Amp Fuses?

Good day Family I just read something that crooked my mind..i had this knowledge that to find proper Battery Fuses Disconnectors sizes you need to devide Inverter Capacity ie Wattage with Nominal Voltage of the Battery Example 10 kw inverter divided by 48v of the battery which gives 208 Now i came across this whereby it says Continuous Power Rating of the Inverter devided by Lowest Voltage of the battery,i assume thats Cut off Voltage and Devide by 0.85 How do you do it exactly Thank you

0,5c how did you come up with that....im really intrested in that and also when you said inverter output breaker 5,5A, does that limit the user to a load of 1280W

Good Day...i found this forum very help full..i have a great concern on inverter photovoltaic power intake . I have learnt that Open Circuit Voltage (VOC) is something to be seriously when installing panels and it should not be exceeded nor played nearer My main concern is on current generated by panels, what really happens if we exceed the rated one inverter. NOTE that this confusion came after i read somewhere where it said the inveter only cares much about the VOC and only take the current rated on it ... surplus current produced by panels will be wasted thank you

@Kilowatt Power this is the specs of my inverter, I'm a newbie here, how did you come up with 167A Another thing what would be the correct battery fuses to be used. If you may plz provide the formula Thank you

Good day, hope i find everyone Good. I'm having a set up of 8kw / 48v Mecer Inverter and 3.5kwh lithium 48v battery which is running offices supplying essential loads, actually all the plugs that connects printers, lights and some stuff by the offices. Now the problem is when i switch on all essentials, the battery cut off and beeps.. I'm assuming it my be drawing too much current as the battery only supplies 74Amps. I'm suggesting adding another battery then connect it in parallel to increase Amperage, just a suggestion. Would that be the Solution?? Thank you V. D
