Roof repairs when removing solar panels
We're selling our house and want to take the panels with us. How extensive - and expensive - are the roof repairs that will be needed once we've taken them off? Just ballpark figure that will help me decide if it's worth it.

Moving panels vs installing new ones
- Moving panels vs installing new ones
Hi, Our panels and inverter are 2 years old and we will be moving house sometime this year. I am worried about damage to the panels during the move and the cost of reinstalling everything compared to a new set-up. - Has anyone every move their panels to a new home and is it safe and cost-effective? - Should we rather install a new system at our new home?- Deye Time Of Use Settings
@splunker I haven't done it yet as I need time to focus properly. But my installer eventually came and explained how to. It seems pretty straightforward. You can also find how-to videos on YouTube.- Solarman Smart app plant disappeared
Is anyone still having this problem? My app still isn't working.- Solarman Smart app plant disappeared
Same here. After a message flashed that said there was an abnormal occurrence.Erla joined the community- Deye Time Of Use Settings
Hi, We have a 5kVA Deye Inverter and a 5.5kW Hubble battery and I want to set up the time of use as it currently just runs automatically. In other words, we are not using Eskom as little as possible. Even when the battery is at 100% it pull from the grid to load the battery when our solar panels are producing enough power for the home. As you can gather, I am not technically minded and am not getting much help from the installer in this regard. They basically did the installation, put the Solarman app on my phone and that was it. Is this something I can attempt to do myself (with the help of YouTube where there are several videos that show you how to) or must I rather get someone to do it for me? I really don't want to cause damage or do something that I don't know how to undo.
