  1. Should port not be RS485 ? Dont think narada supports CAN.
  2. i really appreciate the time you took to answer me . final question ( I hope ) .. does it need to be the same 540w or can you add a 550w to the 4 string row ?
  3. Thanks Again .. is there a limit I can put on ? Can I add one to the 5 string west side and two to the 4 string north side so they both have 6 ?
  4. Thanks for getting back to me ., The installed said they are in series and yes its a single MPPT inverter
  5. Hi Everyone, I want to upgrade my Solar system and it's just not making sense to me. At the moment I have a five-star 48v, 8kw inverter. It's connected to 9 x 540W (Tier1) Mono Crystalline Panels and a 10Kwh Narada Lithium battery. 4 Pannels show direction north and 5 west ... It works okay but I wanted to upgrade the system while the lack of load-shedding has driven prices down. When I look at my SolarAssistant it peaks at power of about 2k as seen below. When I asked if I could add more solar panels I was told that this unit could only take 6000W of panels. If it peaks at 2000W doesn't that mean I could add 9 or 19 more pannels ? Now they are advising me to upgrade to a sunsync before I add more panels ( and that may have its own merits) but could someone help me make sense of this?
