  3. Hi. Just for sake of completeness, if anyone else is having this issue, I solved the problem by taking a vacuum cleaner and cleaning the 4 top vents of the inverter which were clogged up with a thick layer of dust. I thought there were 4 fans on the top, but they are just vents which were clogged up, and did not allow the hot air to escape. Thanks for everyone's help. Clive
  4. Hi. Thanks for everyone's help. I connected my laptop, and it is an "Over Temperature alarm". It says its at 90 degrees, which sounds too hot. The fans on the top seem to be off, which is worrying. I think I should have this seen to before something really melts down inside. Any recommended repairers out there? I am in Joburg. Thanks Clive
  5. Hi Youda Thanks for your response. I have uploaded a picture of the error code. Regards Clive
  6. Hi I am hoping someone may know the reason from the infinisolar 3kw inverter giving the error code "OT". Its beeping constantly, but still seems to be running. This error code is not in the manual. Thanks in advance Clive
