  1.    Rou reacted to a post in a topic: Svolt 106AH Battery Review (5.43kWh / 16 cells)
  2. @Rou I have had my ECCO inverter since September last year with no operational issues. The only issue I have is that I can't get the BMS to work to my SVolt batteries no matter what I do. I have given up and stuck to voltage settings and all works well. I do find a drift with SOC on batteries but don't think that is related to the inverter. I just run batteries down every second month to get SOC back to normal on batteries. If I could go back in time I think I would have chosen the LuxPower as it is similar in pricing (a little more) and has a generator input which becomes a shlep with ECCO in that every time you want to charge the batteries with Generator, you need to go into setting and change the input. LuxPower seems to support more batteries and has better support from what I can find. ECCO is difficult to find much, just my opinion. Hope this helps in your choice.

  4. Hi Rou I used the app SmartESS and you can access it on the Web or your phone. Both Web and APP allow you to make changes but I have not tried. Too scared lol :).
  5. @PsyCLown Hi, Hope that you had good Christmas. I have 2x Svolt batteries that I purchased and a 5 Kw ECCO inverter. I am using it as a standalone UPS and it is working great. I have been unable to get the BMS to work and currently using voltage setting. I do have the dipswitch 1 set for master on one battery. Inverter Option 05 - battery type LI 2 supports PYLON US2000 but BMS does not connect so I would like to connect to the battery using RS232 and verify the protocol settings on the battery. May I ask where you purchased the RS232 cable so I can give it a try with PBMStools. Much appreciated
  6. Thanks Reapster, yes I have set up as per above. Much appreciated.
  7. I have the same issue with ECCO inverter and 2x Svolt 105Ah using RS485. I have also ordered USB to serial cable to try and get to check battery configuration as inverter is supposed to support Pylontech but no luck. Using setup as UPS and not wired to DB.
  8. Hi PsyCLown. Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. Appreciate your time to also investigate. I still have not come right but the option of sourcing from China may be the only option. I will do some more web searching and let you know if I come right. Much appreciated.
  9. Hi. I am looking for parallel battery cables for the below batteries. I tried ordering online but the connectors are smaller. The supplier where I bought the batteries from does not have stock. Would appreciate any suggestions as to where to purchase. It's the plug on the left that I am looking for. https://www.makro.co.za/electronics-computers/cameras/batteries/lithium-batteries/svolt-48v-106ah-5-09-kwh-a-grade-lithium-battery-wall-mounted/p/8f27614c-58f3-4fad-b069-b3caa34aac67?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIq_eCpZqdgQMVIJODBx1wQQnqEAQYByABEgIix_D_BwE
