Svolt 106AH Battery Review (5.43kWh / 16 cells)
@TaliaB thank you! I actually discharged yesterday the battery but to 75% and then switched the feed on again and it charged it to 97% and that's whare it stopped. Today around lunchtime it dropped to 96%, yet it was all the time connected to the grid to charge.. I will follow your advise to discharge it to 50% and then will switch On to charge it. Hope that will make difference.

Svolt 106AH Battery Review (5.43kWh / 16 cells)
Hello, I need some help please! I have a backup system ECCO 5.5KW with a SVOLT 5.43KWH battery just for only 2 weeks. The BMS is communicating with the inverter (under LI2 - Pylontech). All seems to be working well - the battery was staying at SOC= 99% until 3-4 days ago when I noticed that the battery went to 98%. Then after a day went to 97% and now it is at 96%. Yet it is permanently connected to the grid. One other thing I noticed is that despite the SOC goes down as percentage, the battery voltage stays at 56v. What could cause the SOC percentage to drop like that while the battery voltage stays at 56v- could it be that the bms is doing some equalizing of the voltage cells and some recalibration.. Or is it the worst- faulty cell? Thank you!

Svolt 106AH Battery Review (5.43kWh / 16 cells)
Thank you @MarkHoskings! And are you happy with your Ecco inverter, any issues or it works as you expected without issues. And how is the support if you have tried to use any. I am considering buying the same and would appreciate some advice. By the way, do you know of any WhatsApp (or Telegram; Viber etc.) support user group for Ecco? Thanks!

@MarkHoskings what app are you using with the with the Ecco WiFi dongle? And is it only for monitoring or also can change some parameters (settings on the inverter)?- My COJ SSEG registration journey
That’s an excellent news @Bobster - if we do not have to change from Prepaid tariff to TOU or any other postpaid tariff! Is that an official position of City Power for everybody or everyone needs to “fight” for its own tariff😀- Ecco Help!
Hi, Please can someone share the link to ECCO support group on WhatsApp. Thanks!- Help connecting ECCO 5.5kw Inverter to SVOLT 48V 5.09kWh BMS

Hi, Please can someone share the link for ECCO support group in WhatsApp. Thank you!- Jhb City Power and SSEG
I have seen that during the registration City Power implements for the owner a TOU (Time Of Use) tariff which has for 2022/2023 fixed components - Service Charge= R1462.34 p/month and Capacity Charge= R1307.39 p/month. If that's going to be the case then that is very discouraging for SSEG.. Unless I am reading wrongly the NERSA tariff.- My COJ SSEG registration journey
Hello @Bobster, congrats for finalising your SSEG registration! Would you please let us know- are they really switched your tarif from Pre-paid to Post-Paid or never bother to do it? Thanks!- Magneto EVO range
Hello there, Has anybody got experience with Magneto EVO range (like IMS202) batteries? And can anybody compare the EVO IMS202 vs normal (not EVO) magneto battery (IMS303) where both are 5.12KWH? I am planning of installing Sunsynk-5KW with 2 magneto EVO 5.12KWH battery but have not found any reviews on EVO range. No idea what is the difference between IMS202 and IMS303 (both 5.12KWH and 100AH with 10 years warranty). Strangely enough, there is nothing about EVO range on Magneto energy website. So, I am getting a bit uneasy to go for it.. Would appreciate any comments on that topic. Thank you!
