CTskollie got a reaction from hilt_ctn in City of Cape Town Grid Feedback
Saw this, hence thinking it may not be feasible after all.
Will rather add some aircons to use the place in summer and utilise as much solar as possible instead of trying to sell back.

CTskollie reacted to TaliaB in Mixing JA Solar Panels 550w and 540w
It won’t be a problem just keep in mind the 550w panels will become a 540w panel as the Imp of the 550w panel will not be 13.11A but will become 12.97A. Very little difference but a difference nevertheless.

I went into my history now and the peak output from the battery was 4600 watts for a few minutes while a kettle was on and the next highest was 4.3 also for the same reason this was on two occasions. Even this high wattage is still within spec as max discharge current is 105A and 51.2V = 5376 watts and peak discharge = 150 *51,2 = 7680 watts. These figures are also within the recommended discharge limit of 90A although on the limit of it.
Perhaps I need to monitor for a few more days and check if the things align, will also add a second battery to rather have the system in spec and then check again.
