  1. Good morning all I have just experienced your identical problem on my 8Kw Deye Inverter. My system is almost exactly 1 year old today. The data logger just stopped working aand the display just dimmed and eventually died completely. The inverter however is still working properly. This is obviously a design flaw that they must be aware of, What was the final outcome of your problem? Kind regards Claude
  2. Your solution to prevent reverse current flow by inserting blocking diodes is great, but is unfortunately only a temporary fix. The rain water ingress into your solar panels will obviously cause electrolysis and corrode the conductor inside the affected solar panel, which will over time totally fail. A permanent solution will be to find the affected solar panels, and seal them from water ingress. Maybe use silicon sealer around the perimeter of each solar panel.
