  1. Thanks everyone. Good information . I'm running purely off solar with a surge protector. I think it might be the motherboard on its last legs but will refer back to this thread at times I'm sure.
  2. Hi community My inverter outputs a pure sine wave ( or so it says) . My motherboard has packed in so I'm wondering if the solar power has caused this , other than normal wear and tear. Would it be a safer bet to use a UPS to regulate the voltage or is there a better way ?

Hi . I have 2 copper rods to ground my inverter and the panels . I have a DB box and am off grid , no utility only solar . My question is where do I connect the ground wire for the inverter ?
  4. Hi Gmac I phoned the supplier and my settings were almost exact as the recommendations . A few 0.v off. So I’m still not sure why the inverter didn’t switch off at the cutoff setting . Why would power still be drawn from the battery to cause it to go almost 0v? Thanks for your tip with the resistor . I’ll look into that but I think I’ll have to get the correct power supply tho .
  5. Would a 24v smart charger connected to the outside terminals do the job in charging the battery sufficiently to get it working with the inverter ? otherwise how would one now charge the battery ?
  6. So don’t use the external terminals ? If I break the seal I break the warranty . First thing in the morning I’m calling Esener . I don’t understand why it didn’t cut off as it did once before during a cloudy few days . When that happened I could restart when the sun hit the panels . No there is no chance . I’m using the 2 gel batteries now and it’s working fine . I have checked all recommended voltage settings on the inverter and they comply with Eseners numbers .
  7. Hi and thanks for your reply yes the voltage on the battery terminal is below 1v. On program 14 it’s set to OSO solar only . I only charge with panels no Eskom . Would a 24v battery charger suitable for lithium be the correct method ? 12. 23v 13. 27v
  8. Good day community . My brand new Esener 25.6v 100ah lithium battery connected to a Growatt 3kv inverter won’t power up . The system runs off solar exclusively and the weather has been raining the last few days . I did set up the cut off voltage at 22.8v and would also assume the BMS would stop the battery discharging . It won’t turn on at all . Zero power . I do have 2x12v gel batteries from the first setup . Can I connect in parallel to charge the lithium and would this be better on a sunny day or do I need to buy a 24v battery charger ? Any thoughts ?
