  7. Kwikot solar geyser

    So my old flat panel solar geyser which I have had for 16 years finally gave in.The insurance company replaced it with a Kwikot 16 tube solar geyser. I was all excited thinking I am going to get nice hot water in winter compared to my old solar geyser. This geyser does not have the element connected as I have a Heat Pump as well. The last few days I would estimate the water temp from the solar geyser to about approx 35deg.I was told by the installers this is normal for winter. Anyone out there with Kwikot solar geysers? Is this normal?
