Lots of red flags with this website unfortunately the domain is hosted and registered by Godaddy the scammers all love GoDaddy as they ignore any abuse complaints. I cant pick up bad reviews for this website I do see some good ones but in general it doesn't look promising. They don't have Payfast or one of the bigger payment gateways as payment method and its only EFT. If you can let me know what you want to purchase from them I can have a look at some options as well for you.

They ghosting people and not delivering. They are or were a legit company yes. Unfortunately this year they seem to have moved more to not being legit.

Power Vault Za is a scam powervaultza.co.za They have been involved in pet scams as well, please dont purchase anything from them you will not get anything. Once again they spoofed this domain powervault.co.za and just added a za at the end. The domain is 3 years old, and they look legit but ... They only accept eft payments on the website. (This never ends well unfortunately legit companies offer Payfast etc.) Domain is registered with Hostafrica, they are basically scammer paradise for people scamming with za domains. Address looks like a house and everything else points to a one man show. Its not worth it to order from them if they accepted Payfast then you could of considered. Best would be to go with a reputable supplier that is a company and has a presence. Looks like they do CCTV as well pmbcctv.co.za Yeah I wouldn't use them too be honest Jack of all trades ...

Thank you for this in depth reply this is appreciated. Co.za replied back to say that not enough evidence was provided and they have to un-suspended these 2 domains even though we gave them pages of victims, police case numbers etc. They did mention yesterday that they are investigating this again now and will revert back soon. These truly are very special people I have seen cases where they scam people and then threaten them as well. From what I have seen our warnings on this group definitely helps as these people advertise so hard everywhere, basically everyday also. Hostafrica took down the following 2 domains: https://glosolarsa.co.za https://glotechenergy.com https://globaltechsolarenergy.co.za/ This is a exact clone of the above 2 but they refuse to take it down and saying we do not have proof that its the same scammer, even though the ads on google shows the exact name, same whois, same template everything exactly the same Once again if you got scammed by any of these website please open a police case and report to your bank.

Just an update on this post thank you Hostafrica for taking down the 2 Glo Solar websites both are not working and co.za domain authority for taking down the other 2 this is greatly appreciated. If you get scammed or were scammed please remember to make a Police Case and report to your bank it might not feel like its worth it but I can assure you it is and essentially we will win the fight against these scammers. Welcome to the forum, please make sure to buy from only reputable companies or deal with an installer that you can pay on completion. The solar industry in South Africa is completely run over with scams.

I see the website is up now and still with SA Domain if you got scammed by these people please email [email protected] or Alternatively log a takedown request with ISPA and select SA Domain as well. Amazing how co.za themself ignore all emails about these people and continue to let them operate its going for 2 years now.
