  1. I had the same issue and sorted it by changing the inverter’s working mode to “Self Use” and setting the time-of-use slots so the battery powers the house at night. Make sure your battery’s discharge time covers the whole night period. I rely on fotovoltaika during the day, so I also made sure the battery fully charges before sunset by adjusting the charge current and start voltage.
  2. I’ve had a similar issue trying to connect my system components, so I totally understand the frustration. I installed solar panels Dublin and was using a Dyness battery with an inverter setup, and had some challenges with communication too. For me, the key was making sure I was using the correct BMS cables and ensuring everything was configured properly in the inverter settings. I had to do a bit of trial and error to get it all working. The CAN and RS485 connections can be tricky sometimes, but I found a good solution by double-checking the firmware versions and cable connections.
