  1. Thanks. Perhaps taking a step back....the installer placed the CT close to the inverter on the line going from the inverter to the main dB I think. Or perhaps from the main dB to the inverter. Is this incorrect or can it work like this?
  2. Hi All. Question on a similar topic. What do I need to do to ensure that during the day excess solar goes to non essentials and if this is not enough then Eskom tops up. And then in the evenings, non essentials don't drain my battery? Is the latter ensures by default?
  3. Thanks. Any idea if its Sunsynk and Deye or specifically only Sunsynk?
  4. Hi. Not directly related question but are the revov batteries good?

Yeah. It will be running quite a lot in that case. Fox seems like a good alternative for the >6 kW inverters as they are silent. Their battery is a bit more expensive though and not widely supllied.

Does the Solis 8kW have a heat sink? I believe it has a fan
  7. Fair enough. Is it significant though. Which option would you recommend?
  8. Anyone experiences any significant energy losses due to running 2 inverters in parallel or is it negligible? It seems like the 2 x 5 kW should be a no-brainer due to: Extra inverting capacity Extra AC passthrough Noise - fanless Relatively similar cost
  9. Hi All, @Christoff83 , did you go with the 2x5 kW or the 8 kW? Is the noise on the 8 kW a big issue? It seems like it can be irritating. Lastly, (an actual operational question). Will the 2x5 kW have an ac pass thorough of 2 x 35 A = 70 A?
