  1. Thanks, i’ll try that. It is just weird that pack 2 (basically the furtherest one from the load) is the one that drains faster.
  2. Hi guys I’ve got 2 new narada 48nfpc100 batteries connected in parallel, but it seems that they are not draining equally. Specifically, it seems pack 2 is typically the one that drains faster. The wiring from the inverter goes to pack 1, with pack 2 parallel connected to 1, so it is weird that pack 2 is the one more drained (e.g pack 1 will have 2 lights in soc, whilst pack 2 will have 3) Another thing i’ve noticed is that sometimes during low load, pack 1 will go into standby, while pack 2 will service the load. Most of this occurs during night time with no solar activity, and both will charge up properly during the day. the only thing i can think of doing at the moment is to put one of the cables from the inverter to the same port on the other battery to see if that helps, but not confident. Any advice?
  3. Hi all. Where did you guys source the comms cable converters? The comms cables that came with my 2 nfpc100’s are both RJ45’s on both ends. I found the pin configs on the manual, but not having luck yet on the converters to usb. Any advice?
  4. Hi guys i’ve got a leoch LFeLi48100cb battery hooked up to an 5kw axpert inverter. At the moment the inverter settings for battery equalization is disabled. I assume this is correct as the bms of the lithium battery will control cell equalization? Also, i’m looking at getting icc sometime, and read on their page that they can connect to pylontech batteries for SOC. Any idea if they will ever extend that to the Leoch? After a sizeable amount invested would like not to have to go buy a victron bms if i dont need to. Haha thanks in advance
  5. Hi all Not sure if this is in the right place, but i cannot get Watchpower to do datalogging. It does connect to the inverter, and i can change all the settings using the software, but no event logging or generation/usage stats are being generated. I’m connecting via the USB cable supplied with the inverter as i do not have a serial port on my spare laptop Any advice on what it can be?
  6. Thanks everyone for sharing their knowledge! It is awesome help for a newb like me and reassuring that we can but ask a question and people just help. Love it.
  7. I’m not yet at the confidence level to mess with the wiring yet, so would rather not. Haha. I did notice that the highest voltage the inverter registers coming from the panels are 120v, so not hitting the limit yet from what i understand of the inverter. I’m struggling to get the data from the inverter to my pc to pull graphs at the moment, so will update when i have More data.
  8. Thanks guys, the panels are installed on a flat roof with about a 15 degree north facing angle. No shadows over it for 90% of the day, and lastly, in Johannesburg I’m not 100% sure of the cables, from what i can see on it is some german made 6mm (could be 8, writing on it is a bit hard to read) but looks closer to 6. Not sure if it matters but the battery is a 4.8kw lithium connected to the mecer inverter
  9. Hi all i just got 6 JA 330w panels installed in 3s2p configuration. The most wattage i’m getting at 12:30 is around 1200 to 1300 watts, on a clear day, even with a 2kw load registered on the inverter. I was expecting it being a tad higher, maybe at around 1500w. What would you expect to see on a clear may day generated from the above number of panels? I’m using a mecer inverter (axpert) 5kva on SbU priority Thanks all
