  1. @Ryan Hoymiles works brilliantly for your application. It's also NRS -2- 1:2017 certified. We have used it on multiple projects with Victron. Latest was +-25kW. It supports frequency shifting to throttle when the batteries/loads don't require so much PV power. It's also a lot cheaper than Enphase since there are multiple panels connected to one micro - either 2 or 4 panels. https://www.ellies.co.za/product-category/renewable-energy/inverters/micro-inverters/
  2. They are on the CT list - both the MI-600 and MI-1200. From our experience, these have a super duper low failure rate. To date, we've had 0 failures - and we've installed a few hundred. These microinverters also only start limiting their power from 80 degrees Celsius. Optimizer solutions start reducing power from 60 or 65 degrees Celsius, I think.
  3. You must just make sure the max voltage of the panel does not exceed the max input voltage allowed per port on the microinverter. If the voltage is in the allowed range, a larger panel should be no problem - it just may mean you have some power clipped at certain times.
  4. The Hoymiles microinverters can change their output based on frequency shifting. We have used them with the attached VDE standard on a Victron inverter - works perfectly. They are also able to throttle production to match consumption. The unique thing is that they throttle production on each phase to match consumption on each phase; unlike string inverters which throttle to the average or minimum phase consumption. From our experience, these microinverters have a much lower failure rate than other MLPE solutions we've used.   5. The Tele Haase NA003 is also on the CoCT list. I think it may also be able to achieve this.
  6. There is a new zero export system for Hoymiles. It's wired from the consumption meter to the DTU. The DTU takes an average of about 15 seconds to throttle completely. So there is a chance of some feedback to the Axpert which is not advised. 0FBIAM3RS (2).pdf 0FBIAM1RS (1).pdf 0FBIADTUARG.pdf
  7. We have found the best solution to this is microinverters - since you can put different amounts of PV on each phase to match consumption thereon. We've used Hoymiles which is working really well - it throttles to match the consumption of each phase; not the lowest or average phases.
