    Hi @Jay-Dee I cannot speak for the Averge battery brand but I do have Narada lithium batteries for my setup (2x 48NPFC50 batteries). The battery SOC is controlled through the ICC software seeing as my inverter cannot communicate with these batteries. Overall I have been very impressed with no complaints. I am actually going to expand my system now with an extra battery or maybe two. The other reason I eventually decided to go with the Narada batteries are because these are the same batteries which the large Telcos (Vodacom, Mtn etc) use for their backup power systems, thus assuming the batteries have some credibility with regards to specs, reliability and warranty. On my setup I can confirm that the battery performance is very good. Thanks,
  2. Thanks for the insight @Louisvdw . I have decided to sell the 100Ah battery seeing as it is new and never used. I will then invest in one or two of the 50Ah batteries so that all the batteries are the same and leave the BMS in each to sort out the rest. Thanks,
  3. Good day I need some advice with regards to adding an extra battery to my existing battery setup. Current configuration is two Narada 50Ah Lithium Ion (Model: 48NPFC50) batteries connected in parallel, which in turn is connected to a Axpert MKS II 5KW inverter. SOC is controlled by the ICC software running on a Raspberry PI board. The setup works really well and has done so for the last 8 months now. I now want to increase the battery storage capacity by adding an extra lithium ion battery. I already have the extra battery but this battery is a 100Ah battery, also Narada (Model: 48NPFC100), basically the same thing just 100Ah instead of 50Ah. The 100Ah battery is brand new and the existing batteries being around 8 months old (~ 50 cycles up to date, so not heavily used). My question now is whether I can just add the new 100Ah battery to the existing setup with it being the same brand, voltage and chemistry? The rate of charge and discharge between the two might possibly be a problem but I am not sure. I was told this would work but lithium battery storage is an expensive hobby so I do not want to damage any of the batteries. The way the existing batteries are connected are as follow. The batteries are stacked on top of each other in a custom build frame. Along the side of the frame are two busbars (+ and -, running from top to bottom). From each of the battery terminals (+ and -) I have short cables of equal length connected to the busbars. A single pair of cables then connect from the busbars to the inverter. I was very pedantic about cable lengths having to be the exact same length (~ 5mm) to ensure good load distribution across the batteries. The idea would be to connect the new battery in the same configuration. Any thoughts or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
  4. Hi All I have a Axpert King 5Kw inverter and a Pylontech US3000 battery. Within the inverter settings I have configuration number 5 set to PYL to communicate to the Pylontech battery and I have the communication cable connected between the inverter and the battery. I am tough receiving an error code 61, which from my research seems to indicate a communication error between the inverter and the battery. This error code does not actually feature in the manual tough. I am thus wondering if I connected the inverter correctly to the battery. I have the provided cable connected to the CAN port on the battery and connected to the BMS port on the inverter as per attached screen capture. Should the cable be connected to the CAN port on the battery or to the RS-485 port? Asking before experimenting too much and breaking something. Thank you
