  1. Thanks for the replies, and I can understand scenarios where the load is too high to leave enough output for charging. However, I attach yesterdays graph. Sun all day. Second picture shows the PV being lowered while in theory there should be more PV output due to position of the sun.
  2. Good day all, I have a scenario where the inverter does not fully charge the batteries, even though there is sufficient PV output. For example we had an extended power failure earlier in the week with the Wapadrand substation out of action, and when running in off grid mode the batteries are at 100% around about 14h00, sometimes earlier depending on load. However, when connected to the grid, the inverter drops the PV output to match the load with the result that the batteries never reach 100%. Which configuration setting/mode can be changed to ensure the batteries are fully charged, and grid usage is minimized. See SEMS graphs from off grid and on grid. As usual Goodwe support is MIA, any advice will be much appreciated! PS both days full sun with no clouds
  3. https://solaradvice.co.za/product/pylon-us3000-x2-cabinet-with-support-rails/ I have seen it wall mounted but do not have a picture
  4. No, still available
  5. Pretoria East
  6. I have a 6U battery cabinet for 2x Pylontech US3000B batteries, I added another battery so this one is too small for me. Was used for +- 6 months, yours for R2000
  7. Thanks, I had a look at mouser website and the Surlok lugs are not too expensive, the shipping just kills it.
  8. I have 2 PT US3000's in a cabinet and I want to add another one. The problem is that I don't have space to stack the 3rd one on top of the other 2, so I need to put it next to each other. What is the maximum length of interconnect cables one can buy? I found a cable pack with 2m cables but is looks like the cables going to the inverter, not the interconnect set. Has anybody done this before?
  9. I thought I would just share some feedback, after changing the settings nothing really changed. In desperation I contacted David from Segen and he checked the logs remotely and advised that the CT was installed the wrong way round. I got hold of the installers and they sorted it quickly and now all is looking much better.
  10. Thanks, I will change tonight and see how it goes. At the moment I have a very expensive UPS and my Eskom bill is actually more after installing the system ☹️
  11. After more googling, found this in an old EZManage manual. Charge Manage: Set a time range and percentage of rated power for battery charge. Charge time: during charge time, battery will not discharge unless grid is unavailable. Charge Power Limit: max battery charge power from grid (percentage of nominal power of the hybrid inverter) Eg. power limit set as 50%, then max charge power from grid will be 50%*3600W=1800W Discharge Manage: Set a time range and percentage of rated power for battery discharge. Discharge time: during discharge time, battery will always discharge unless grid is unavailable or SOC is low. Discharge Power Limit: max battery discharge power to grid (percentage of nominal power of the hybrid inverter) Eg. power limit set as 50%, then max discharge power to grid will be 50%*3600W=1800W
  12. My feeling also. But the chinglish on screen is also not that clear, for economical mode it says: "Charge/Discharge power limit: max battery charge/discharge power from grid (percentage of nominal power of the hybrid inverter)." So does that mean if the power limit% is set at 70% it will allow DoD of 30%? or 70%? Has anybody used this mode before? And according to PV master user manual: "If you choose Economical Mode, it will show options for charge/discharge management. Note: Charge/discharge time and Rated Power only valid when grid is available,Now the inverter supports up to four group configurations Battery Mode: There are charge and discharge mode. Start time: start time for charge or discharge. End time: end time for charge or discharge Rated Power: max charge or discharge power ( % of nominal power of the inverter) Eg. for GW3648D-ES, rated power set as 50%, then max charge power of battery from grid will be 50%*3600W=1800W during charge time when battery mode set discharge Repeat: set weekday for charge or discharge" BTW my PV Master app does not have the multiple days option.
