Energy usage monitors / meters for residential 3phase
Hello all, I am looking for recommendations / opinions on energy usage meters / monitors for use with my 3-phase power set up at home. Planning to install solar to add to my existing generator in the next 3 months and interested to gather some data before I do that. I have a Hexing HXE34 out in the street and a Hexing CIU-EV-KP in the house; the CIU shows the consumption details but nothing I can read off and track (not even the blinking LED that some smart meters have, which could be read electronically for this purpose). The current config is set up for pre-paid billing. Anyone know of some cost-effective options out there for this use case? Thank you.

Seeking pylontech battery cables 3.5m
Hello all, I am hunting for 3.5m pylontech cables to replace a broken set tomorrow or latest Friday in Sandton. These seem to be in short supply in the market and hoping someone here can point me in the right direction as time is tight; happy to pay online or via eft and send a drover to collect in Joburg. Kind regards, PT

Thoughts on Goodwe GW10KT-DT & GW10K-ET inverters?
Hi guys, I've done some work with the Goodwe staples: GW5048D-ES and GW3648D-ES. For a couple of larger installs that we are looking at, the GW10KT-DT & GW10K-ET look like they may be a good fit, technically, but not had any hands on experience, interacted or heard anything about these out in the field, so wanted to check in here on thoughts, opinions and experiences with them. Any insights? Kind regards.

Solar product / component wholesaler & supplier recommendations
Hello all, We are a new outfit based in Johannesburg working on supplying/exporting solar products and components into the southern African market and are looking for reputable and reliable wholesalers & suppliers (in South Africa, initially) whom we can work with on the product catalogue we will offer our clients across various industries. Whilst we will look to establish direct relationships with various component vendors over the course of 2020, we are keen to engage with 2-3 suppliers who can cater for supply of full systems requirements as we gather customer project install requests. As an overview - please do chime in (for and against) on the range below or any omissions: + Inverters + MECER [Axpert] + GOODWE + Victron + INFINISOLAR + Solar Panels + JA Solar (315W - 405W Mono Percium) + Canadian Solar + JINKO SOLAR + Batteries + Lithium: Pylontech, Dyness, BYD + Gel: brand to be confirmed Thank you in advance for your imput.

Dyness B4874 Lithium battery failure
Hi @John37 did you ever get to the bottom of this issue? I am supplying solar components, including batteries, to clients in southern Africa and looking at potentially adding Dyness units alongside Pylontechs, so am curious about this thread.

Pylontech US3000B 3.5kWh Li-Ion Battery
Good day @SilverNodashi, I see you have responded by PM to some people looking for Pylontech USB3000B 3.5kWh Li-Ion Battery units. I am in the market for one as well as a compatible inverter. The current recommendation has been that I use a Mecer Axpert Hybrid 5KVA 80A MPPT device. Please advise on sources and/or pricing for these for me as well. I am based in Sandton. The best price I have found for the pair is R27k. I will subsequently be looking to add 14x375W solar panels to this as well in 3-9 months, as well as remote web monitoring for the set up. Any guidance there would be appreciated. Keen to hear from others, as well, if you have good leads/info on this. Kind regards, Paul
