I have a Axpert 5kv 48v inverter set up with 3strings of 405w PV panels connected in parallel(74v). System worked fine with 100ah 4,8kw lithium ion battery for a long time. Added same make 7800kw 150ah battery in parallel. System is running fine during day with sunshine but when no PV available unit switches over to utility (+-20sec ). After a while unit kicks back to battery? Settings as follows: 1.SbU 2.30A 3.APL 4.SdS 5.Use 6.LfE 7.trd 9.50hz 11.30A 12.49v 13.50v 16.OSO 18.default 19.default 20.default 22.default 23.byE 25.default 26.52,5v 27.51.8 29.47,6v 31.Sbe Please could any body assist with the setup?? Tried various settings with no positive results. Need inverter to switch over to utility with no PV(after dark) Regards Instinct

Please confirm if two identical 48v lithium batteries(one is 100ah and the other 150ah) could be paralleled connected to Axpert 5kv Inverter. Would inverter charge both batteries without complications?
  3. Hi Coulomb Thank you once again for your kind help and advice. The battery is a Averge Solar LFeLi 48100TB. Equalized Chrg Volt=54-56V. Floating Chrg Volt = 54V. Disharge End Volt = 40.5. (don't know if this will help) I will definitely do settings 26 & 27 according to your recommendation. Will also rewire panels to 2S4P. Thank you Instinct Hi Coulomb The settings for both 26&27 is 54V.The battery is a Lithium 100ah.Panels are 9x 405w Canadian, placed 3xseries in 3 strings. Panels deliver a average of 137V.

  5. Morning Coulomb I am getting rather desperate as 3rd unit popped yesterday. Quite a loud cracking noise. Unit completely dead and wont turn on again. Tried everything. Temp just before blowout was only 37 deg C ? Load was running approx 500w. Added a 30A voltage protector unit. Warranty most probably replace or repair. Worried same thing will happen. Must I rather look at another unit ? Instinct
  6. Morning Coulomb Took your advice on replacement unit by keeping it as cool as possible. Unit failed again(2nd) yesterday with quite a loud crack sound.Returning again for warranty replacement. This is so frustrating. Is there nothing else one could do on settings that would make a difference?
  7. Thank you so much Coulomb for giving good and expert advice.Wont be able to replace components as unit still under warranty. Will try and keep unit as cool as possible.
  8. Could somebody please explain most common reasons for the above inverter to fail completely. Been working perfectly for six months. Heard slight noise like breaker switch and inverter was completely dead. Tried reset but no luck. Sent back to supplier. Would like to know what to do to prevent new one doing same.

  11. Hi Coulomb Thank you for all the effort and time spent to try and help.Appreciate.Yes that is definitely the correct battery. Having gone into the menu screen on the battery it definitely only shows 15 cells. The menu states following info: Analog Info : Pack V 51,95 V Im 0,00A Cell Volt 3460Mv (varies a bit on all 15) Cell Capacity SOC 99,41 % FCC 105,9 AH Rm 105,3 AH CC 9 System Setting Braud 9600 Not sure if any of this info will help? Regards, Instinct
  12. Hi Coulomb So sorry about spelling errors. My daily(24hr period) usage is approx 20kw. Since I connected Inverter and battery up the 24hr usage has climbed to 25kw? Unfortunately I can't get any info from manufacturers in China.Tried numerous times. Instinct
  13. Hi Jaco Thank you for the advise. Used 6mm in the end. Rather safe than sorry. Hope you could assist me on the following. I would like to get the program settings for my Axpert 5kv MKS as nobody seems to have any data on the battery.I'm using a Liiontech 6kwh lthium ion batt obtained from solar shop. The info on battery supplied is not enough.I'm not using PV panels yet, but will soon be. My daily utility usage is up with approx 5kw. Advise from guys here reckon batt is overcharging. Not sure if thats correct. Maybe you or somebody on the forum would be so kind to help. Regards Instinct
  14. @Chris Hobson Please varify if correct cable size of 10mm will be used to connect 5kv Axpert at a distance of 20met to main board.
