  1. Thank you all for the comments. Already helpful. At this point I am also very happy with my Goodwe Inverter. I just want clarity on which batteries will work good with the inverter. @Saintsorry for asking, but what is BAINS battery. The one in the image of a separate new make battery I should look at?
  2. Good Day All. I please need assistance regarding the right choice of solar battery. I presume the new Hubble 4.8KW battery advertised by PowerForum is of great quality. Any one can confirm? Will this battery be compatible with the Goodwe inverter? I stumbled on another battery- see picture attached - don't see any name but the specs look the same as the rest. Anyone perhaps have the same battery that can give feedback? Or should I just go with Pylontech as this is the most popular battery on the market? Looking forward to you comments. Regards
  3. Good Day Peter I have read you post and have a similar problem. Since your post - how is your system running with the 160w lamp. Any trips recently? Thanx
  4. Thank you for the reply Plonkster. Possible any other suggestions regarding my scenario please? Or will the add of a Pylontech battery solve my problem much better? I am strongly thinking about that. Thanx
  5. Good Day Chris. I am struggling the same way with my Conlog prepaid meter and Goodwe inverter at the moment. I came across this post and I needed to respond. Can I perhaps make contact direct regarding your point 2 in your post and to email a sketch regarding my question to you? Thank you in advance
  6. Thank you all for your feedback. Will exercise each one of the suggestions.
  7. Thank you for the reply pranam. I have read on the website to do that and have done it, but with no luck. I also read that the EZmeter could be faulty. Can the meter be damaged in 2 months time?
  8. Hi All. I just installed a Goodwe Hybrid inverter with solar array. Its a grid tied system for now. Started all up and no faults shown and everything works well. My lights and plugs are connected to back up from the inverter and only my geyser and Kitchen appliances (fridge, washing machine, microwave, kettle) connected to the grid. What does happen more often than not is that when my solar array produce more power than what I can consume/use, it pushes the excess power to the grid and then trips the Goodwe inverter from the grid. The restart of the grid takes about 15 seconds. This whole process repeats itself randomly. I am not selling to the grid. Is there anyone that can be of assistance in this matter please? Thank you in advance.
