Old topic, but can someone help me where I can find a 1kW element for my geyser? Want to use it as a pre-heater for my solar geyser.

I had the same message and changing the date format helped, but if you have the correct format then I have no idea. I changed the time zone to an American one.

For anyone else struggling in the future. You need to change your date format to yy/mm/dd AND time zone to English (USA)!
 
Picked up the battery with battery view and software on raspberry pi also working now.

Thanks for the feedback and help. Yes, it goes in to the COM port (RJ45) and into a raspberry pi (USB).
 
I am going to cut off the RJ11 and crimp a RJ45 onto the USB/com cable to allow the UP5000 communication with the raspberry pi and inverter via ICC.
