Could you share your coms cable and the protocol you used. I will check my notes to give you what worked for me. i have had no issues with the one i setup.

@Coulomb Hi coulomb peter here new to the forum Have done a number of installions with lithium ion batteries on compatible inverters. have heard of a few people connecting lithium battries to axpert inverters without the lithium ion battery option in the battery menu. I would not see how this could be done safely as the charge algorithms are different for lead acid battries and there is no coms to the bms. is it possible to setup in user define mode for the lithium ion or is it a non starter. I understand that the bms would protect the battery but that would pose a threat to the mppt? Thanks in advance Peter
