We live hermanus and i can do grid feed at 0,70 rand cent per kw.. not great, but better then nothing:) we have a goodwe hybrid 5,5 kw inverter 3 years old..very good condition. can you help with the template?

Currently we have on our north facing roof 15 panels canadian solar of 375 watt=5,6 kw, in connection with a goodwe inverter of 5 kw. we also have a nice western orientated roof and theoretically we can add there 10 panels of 460 watt. If we do that we need to replace the goodwe inverter with a larger one: sunsynk or victron. But: if we do so, The total amount of solar produce is more then 8 kw? I can bring the exess power we produce back to the net and we get a credit of 0,7 randcent per kw.. Q: will that work? sunsynk or victron? resell value of the goodwe inverter? Is the app from sunsynk good? Thx for the help! ronald

So, if you discharge only at 80% the lifespan of the batt will be longer, Is that correct..?

That was the answer i was waiting for...so i keep the same settings: excercise, down to 60 % every day..thx for the advise!

where and how can i see the registered cycles?

Correct, pylontechs last about 3 to 4000 cycles...

Will discharging every night to 60% will have an impact on their lifecycle? We are currently overseas for at least 4 more months, so load-shedding has no impact on us..

I have a 5.5 kw solar system with a goodwe inverter and pylon batteries 7 kw... i can use different settings: or discharge the batteries every night to 60% of their capacity, or keep the batteries full at 100% all the time. wonder what the best option is?

Hi, i recently added 3 more panels on my system. How do i change the parameters in the sems portal... system still shows the 12 panels instead of the 15? 4,4 kv should be 5,5 now...how di i change these settings? help appreciated!
