  3. Okay cool, going to give this a stab!
  4. Thank you, hmmm, where do I Set "grid charge Point 1" to 50%?
  5. Hi There, I need your assistance please, I would like to set an automation for my Inverter but im sturggling to figure it out: Sunsynk Inverter Automation: If scheduled outage in 60 mins Then Charge battery to 50% Thats it, to ensure I have atleast 50% Battery Charge before load shedding kicks in. Thank you!
  6. Hi all, I need some assistance please, I have. SS 12kw 3Ph inverter with 2 x SS 10.65ke batteries. The one battery was installed recently. Both batteries have the latest FW installed for their specs, but they run on different versions as one is much newer. The installer is struggling to get the newer battery to talk with the inverter, is there a way or method that needs to be used to get the new battery to be the Master and talk to the inverter? The old battery cannot be master due to the older FW version. Any help appreciated. Thank you
  7. Meant to quote on reply.
  8. Hey there, I just wanted to find out if you managed to sort this out with ethekwini? Thank you
  9. Hey, just started getting this, any definitive fixes?
  10. Im just not sure why, maybe Amperage, but you would reach VOC limit and not maximise wattage.
  11. Yup the 550w makes sense if you need 2 strings, because of the Amperage limite, and maybe panel layout is important agreed. If not -in my case - one string of 12 x 660w is better, just not sure if there is a negative to having these panels.
  12. Hi All, Will be installing a Sunsynk 12kw 3 Ph (through a certified Installer). I am trying understand why most solar installers like to use the JA 550W panel as opposed to the CS 660W panel? I could put 12 x CS 660w Panels which would be the max wattage rating of the mppt at peak production and still be within the 25A threshold, vs 550W panels which require more space and installation to achieve the same Wattage and ultimately limited by VOC on number of panels. The CS 660W would achieve Wattage threshold before VOC is reached. Am I missing something?

Hey All, So after great help on this forum, I have realised my roofing will not be suitable for solar anels, in summer it will be okay, but winter will be shaded almost all day. I have identified an Awning of mine which can be repurposed for Solar Panels, it will need to be re-enforced or a new structure put up. Does anybody have any dimensions or considerations as I get a builder/awning company to come and quote? I am not sure what supporting beams etc might be needed? Looking at 6 x 2 Panels in Portrait Orientation. Would be appreciated.
  14. Haha good idea for Life in general, Although having looked at it, I think redoing the awning is going to be the best solution. Could get 12 panels there and potentially phase 2 is the lower south awning as well. Will get some awning guys to cost It out, won't be able to support as is and angle is incorrect.

  17. That would be cool if you happen to be on this side? Had another look and think my neighbours need to either cut their trees or I need another solution. Will be a waste in winter as the shading will be pretty much all day by my calculations.
  18. In the North, howcome?
