Hi, How does one change BMS settings from CAN to RS-485? Regards, Andrew

How much spare solar is blocked?
Hi, I have been wondering the same thing, I also have a Hexing HXE12 electricity meter. I set my inverter to feedback 2000w for an hour, the meter shows the feedback sign on the screen however, instead of my units going up, it goes down as if I'm using electricity from the grid (essentially billing me for feeding back). So it seems the Reverse Energy Detection is preventing my units from going up. So I think there is a Token to disable RED, or the meter can be programmed to disable it. If anyone knows the token or can program the meter, I am interested.

Yes please get me his details. My Ezmeter and CT are now set up correctly, now I have a problem with the Battery, I was having trouble sourcing a Pylontech or Dyness so I opted for a MaxLi 3.3kw LiFeP04 battery and it's not supported so I had to self define but it looses sync every 2 days. Inverter says battery is 68% and the battery bms says it is 10%.

It turns out that my CT was installed incorrectly, it is now in the right place facing the right direction, my graphs are now on point. Can't do a meter test without the battery it seems.

To top it all, my Hexing prepaid meter billing me as if nothing has changed, like there are no loads on the panels.

Yes, I agree, the inconsistencies is that in the evening around 6pm when the solar panels stop producing power, that Blue Grid LED changes from static to blinking as if the Grid is no long connected, that is not possible as I don't have a battery and I'm drawing power from the Grid. And the SEMS portal show little to no load from 6pm whereas I am using the Grid.

Thanks for the info. This is stressful because my prepaid meter is chowing units as if no solar has been installed. Its business as usual for that prepaid meter. The Spike on the load and meter at night and during the day is the geyser timer kicking in. Not much else is running during the to draw up to 2000w, besides the geyser, it's the fridge, tv, wifi and fire tv stick which shouldn't be over 1000w. But in the evening the load is flat and that is when the load from the grid is running.

Got it thanks, but now what is strange to me is, the load and the meter is the and the flat lining after 6pm, that is when most things are on in the house, during the day, the pv is curved along side with the load, but there is not much on except the spikes you see from the geyser timer kicking in. Somewhere something is wrong with my system, maybe the inverter is confused because there is no Batteries connected. If you look at the picture attached, shouldn't the Grid LED be blinking during the day when the solar is on be solid at night when I'm using power at night? On mine it is solid while the panels are actually providing power and at night it blinks when I'm actually using grid power. It does not makes sense

Hi all, I also have a Goodwe ES5048, i don't have a battery yet. But i don't understand why my Meter is spiking below 0kw. This is very strange. Please help, maybe it was installed incorrectly. But according to the wiring diagram, the arrow on the CT is supposed to be facing back to the grid and that's how we installed it.
