Sunsynk Smart Load behavior-need help
Really would be eternally grateful if somebody can explain the Sunsynk System Mode settings... Trying to set it so that - Solar runs load 1st - Then charges batteries - when solar is low, it's topped up by grid and not batteries. - batteries run during the night...

- Brand new to Solar, with new installation
Hi All, Really new to this but have been quietly following the forum and listening attentively to all the sound advice given. After lots of checking for pricing of equipment and a decent installer I have finally put my system in. Small compared to many of the systems I've seen here but suited my budget : - 5.5 kW Sunsynk Inverter - 10 x 455w ArtSolar Mono panels - 2 x Pylontech 3000c 3.5kwh - IP65 custom cabinet, because I didn't want the system in my garage or house (garage quite a way from the main house) Using the Solarman smart app for monitoring but doesn't really provide as much info as I expected. I don't have an electrical or instrument type bone in my body but really enjoying this so far- Brand new but Solar installes
Actually a good idea... I will also charge my system modes to all 25%. Thanks- Brand new but Solar installes
Would like some advice on the best System Mode settings... My thinking is that I set all to discharge to 25% then monitor how long the batteries last, then I can check when I need to get grid to charge the batteries until sunrise... Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks- Brand new but Solar installes
Brand new to this so got a local installer to supply and install but would love any advice.- Brand new but Solar installes
Hi Gents, just got my first installation done. 10x445w Mono panels 5kw Sunsynk inverter 2x3000c Pylontechs batteries Custom made IP65 battery/inverter cabinet with space for 2 more Pylontechs- Is a COC required for geyser solar retrofit
Hi All, I am brand new to the solar community. My plan is to retrofit by 2 existing 100L geysers to run off solar and grid. They are on 2 different buildings on my property. My question is, do I need to request a COC for each installation from the installer? Is it required? I just want to make sure I am covered in case of any insurance issue. I have spoken to installer and he has said that a COC is not required!? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks - Brand new to Solar, with new installation
