  1. Tx, forgot to come back, turns out the CT clamp wires were swapped around so the export was confused.
  2. Finally got my setup finished, Sunsync 5KW with Hubble AM2 and the 540w panels. Yesterday the installer finished everything, was some trial and error getting it to push back to the geyser, but it was working, PV draw spiked when I turned the geyser on, Grid levels remains at trickle settings so all looked good. Today, no joy, geyser went on at noon and the PV relaxed at under 300w. This morning I updated the work mode settings as the battery switched off and went back to the grid last night with the default settings, not sure if that could have messed with things. Tinkered with mode 2s settings and only managed to briefly push over 4kw to the grid, or maybe just the CT clamp, not my area of expertise, but the grid gauge on Solar Assistant was in the negative. Not sure why it worked yesterday and not today and other than the work mode settings, everything else I tinkered with I restored to their previous, other than that the only difference between today and yesterday is the dongle was plugged in, but I cannot image that could be the cause? is this a settings thing I can do myself or do I ask the installer to re-re-re-check the wiring? current settings TIA
  3. Yeah, bit of trial and error to it as well, picking the right values and the right checks, but that's half the fun. Already got a nice once setup that "should" work for maximising PV usage with the geyser. AC will just get killed when the battery kicks in and some of the other stuff will get disabled if they not in use.
  4. Nice one, it works well. Got mine setup last week and even got a few flows setup in Node-Red off the data as well. Ordered a few smart switches/plugs to hook up to the less essential appliances so I can kill them when the battery goes on.
  5. Been doing a bit of reading and it also lead me to Solar Assistant and looking at it, it's exactly what I want and about the cost effective and simplest way to get it, so ordered the kit and should arrive Tuesday, I can gather up some data while I wast for the panels to arrive in 3 weeks.
  6. Good Day, My inverter is going up in a few days and I been looking around for Sunsynk integration for ages, where are you getting that sensor from? TIA
  7. Not sure where you stay, but there are 3 left (or at least yesterday) at builders in Stellenbosch. It was in the locked cabinet with all the other breakers and gate motor batteries.
