Hi All, A client bought a 8kw deye inverter from a company and I'm begging to doubt if the inverter is original. I realized the packaging box is written Austa. Is these correct? My 5kw deye had deye branding all over.

A changeover will be to bypass them to eskom for inverter servicing. * Splitting of DB was not necessary unless you're planning to use more than 10kw per hour at some point _ * My system is a 5kw deye connected to 2 x 3.5kwh pylontech and 12 x 400w Jinko panels. I did not split db I run everything thru deye from march 2021. My wife sometimes overloads the inverter by cooking same time as my geyser on time or turns on all 4 stove plates. She adopted her behavior _ 3 plates doesn't overload 5kw deye (the inverter can easily a 7kw load without overloading 🙂

Hi What will be your usage profile? will you have tenants in the two flats or family members? since is a new development how did you estimate 1500kwh month usage? * my 2 cents 1. I will rather have 3 x 8kw Deye inverters for each house 2. Borehole and pool pump to be connected on main house 8kw or share with a flat ( you will have a lot of wasted power when is sunny) 3. Install emergency led lights on all houses - additional 3-4 hours light back up in early hours of the morning/when cloudy. 4. Consider running a dedicated light-only back - up system that will last you 2-3 days (to me honestly lights are more important than plugs) should get you thru cloudy days. 5. Pylontech US3000C (3.5kwh) has a 95% DOD >6000cycles 6. How many aircon and your strategy to run them?

Hi I was approached by my neighbor - who has seen my successful Deye 5kw solar array DIY. He built mansion in waterfall and his moving in start of May 2022. With the second battery I'm more off-grid. Looks like I must plan to buy a third us3000c to be completely off. However I'm currently spending R300 per month using one battery. I'm expecting to spend less than R100 per month with my new addition 2nd battery. * I don't think is worthwhile to buy a third battery. I rather spend it on a Aircon and optimize wasted panels power. Thanks MdF, I followed your replies to KBS time of use not changing answers and solved my problem. * I changed time of use to start using battery at 23:00 to 07:00, thru the process I change 1st row time of use from 00:00 to 23:00 * I changed back to 00:00 and achieved my goal using other time slots. What do you mean system reboot? Switch off everything inverter, batteries and solar circuit breakers. What will be the sequence?

Hi, my 5kw deye is almost a year old and it worked 100% with us3000C battery canbus comms. I set time of use to use battery power to switch on geyser @ 2am to 4am. System worked fine until I added another pylontech US3000C battery. What I did when adding new battery 1. balanced the new and old battery cells. 2. Made the new us3000c a master @ port 0 3. Changed capacity limits at inverter (charge max 100A) discharge @ 80A and charge @ 80A. Now the time of use doesn't work anymore _ deye inverter pulls from eskom when load exceeds solar production during the day and the batteries don't switch on @ 2am to 4am to heat up geyser. I not sure why the inverter and batteries _ behaves like these. * Deye 1 mppt connected to 8x400w mono Jinko and second input mppt connected to 4x435w mono Canadians.

I'm running software on my laptop, thanks for detailed feedback, I'm running geysers on a timers one at a time to reduce load. Planning to buy similar inverter in the near future to reduce load further.The overload happens when my wife cooks (happy wife happy life).

The solar power software doesn't want to open. I tried disc and voltronic website, the exe file is not opening. May you send me a 100% file or link. I definitely want to turn off feed to grid option, I'm currently getting charge twice by municipality prepaid meter. Sometimes I run 8kw for extended time - the fans blows at max - plus temperature not going up. Infinisolar v2 blends eskom and solar electric in the inverter.
