Sunsynk Inverter and UP5000 Pylontech battery

Featured Replies

Good afternoon.

We have just installed a 5Kw sunsynk inverter with a pylontech up5000 battery, this is new to me the up5000 has an audible alarm every 5sec. The battery is fully charged.

Please assist.

Hi. More or less same system, also recently installed. Installer mentioned that its really annoying. So opted to cancel it right from start.

Can't help with what to do, but maybe someone can help with my issue. On sunsynk, system mode, work mode 1.

soc/v column is currently set to volts, would prefer it to be in %.

Read through the  manual, says it's possible but don't know how to change it. Any suggestions?

Hie, did you connect the cable between UP5000 and the inverter? You must go to battery settings and select Lithium battery and then put the corresponding protocol number. After that the inverter must be able to read the UP5000 BMS and display SOC in %.

Lithium  checked

Can. Checked

Protocol = 0

What is your charge voltage. As I said, I had a Dyness battery in alarm mode when the charging voltage was set to 54V. Dyness and Pylontech have quite similar batteries and BMSs. You might need to double check your charge voltages
