Posted February 17, 20223 yr Good day everyone, I trust that you are doing well. I am posting this on behalf of a friend. He has accidentally powered on his generator to his workshop, while his 3kva inverter was running output to the shop. That caused a loud bang inside the inverter, which happened to be two of the four transistors that blew. He has since replaced the two transistors with new (similar) transistors. Now he keeps getting the error 05, which means circuit overload/overheat. Does this mean the system pics up the new transistors as not being original/exact match? And is there any way of bypassing the error 05? There is a com port whereby one could connect a laptop and possibly bypass the error 05, if that would even be a solution. Any help or recommendations wil be appreciated, thank you.
February 18, 20223 yr Did he check the other 2 transistors even if they don't look damaged? They might be dead even if they don't show it.

I would certainly have replaced all 4 transistors. There is a good chance that other parts were damaged, e.g. gate driver resistors, diodes, and sometimes other components. If the Proline is Axpert compatible [ edit: a quick search indicates that it may or may not ], there are service manuals on this forum in the files section that may help, e.g. this one: Edited February 18, 20223 yr by Coulomb
